One of the new tanks added with the recent War Thunder update is the Soviet Object 775, a very goofy ATGM carrier with a low profile and a ton of armor. At a battle rating of 9.3, it isn't particularly balanced.

My favorite part about lowering the suspension is that tow 2b missiles have a chance to detonate too high above you and they just don't penetrate
not gonna lie, that ready rack replenishment feels strangely too fast
Well it's automated, but in real life the turret would have to turn directly forward. Then the mechanisms in the hull would just slide the missiles right into the drum autoloader in the turret, that's why it happens so fast. But in war thunder they don't model the "hull has to be aligned with turret" part, just like on other vehicles that use the same principle, like the Stryker

@@aiedenoldstien9751 As silly as it sounds 775 was fully built with proper materials and equipment in two variants: One with the diesel engine and the other with twin gas turbine.
There were two reasons it wasn't approved for mass production:
1)The prototypes actually had the massive rubies GROWN to produce lasers capable of reliably guiding the missile to the 10km range. Any attempt to trim the cost there failed miserably. It's not expensive tank. It's freaking treasury fund on tracks.
2)The prototypes demonstrated poor visibility. Which was again, budget cuts even on the prototype stage. Original design had DIAMOND growing shenanigans to produce perfect prisms allowing 360 sight. This one hasn't made it and this is what ultimately sabotaged whole vision system.
So yeah, it's not just gremlin tank. It's gremlin PIMP tank, born to bitch-slap. This thing actually rivals 1K17 Szhatie laser complex by ammount of bling integrated - and that's 60s tank.

Spookston you should play the 3-inch gun carrier. It is a tank gaijin made just to torment you, it is:
-British.
-churchill chasis
-no turret.
-no angled armour.
-basically a 3.0 turtle.
I love british tanks, and heavies, and casemates... and i gotta say that thing is so ass
It's fine tho, if you angle, nothing short of a german long 75mm can pen you and your ~100mm pen cannon is enough to pen almost anything you encounter
i am unhappy that it can no longer go in my 2.7 lineup anymore

In its own teir you just need to angle against heavier guns.

US different thing. Only really strong TT tank that I remember is the m4a2 sherman and now it is era II so useless for tasks. What about premiums? I think the only "good" is the wolfpack. And even wolfpack is no comparable with broken russian stuffs like 2s38.
I mean even US event tanks are pretty much bad or useless. Nothing comparable with 279 or is7.

The shells spawn around halfway down the end the barrel, depending on the tank, so you can't do that. But you can be hurt by the explosives of your shells, so when it detonated on the barrel of the enemy tank he overpressured/top attacked himself

It's due to the height difference, combined with the gun depression. The M60 basically top attacked him with the MG, not sure if it was the commander's or the coaxial though. If you look at the model of the 775, the ammo is right there behind the breach. So, when the M60's MG round penetrated Spook's roof it hit the ammo killing him
@@ice__cube_9107 The M60 didn’t have a good enough angle to do that though and you don’t see the ammo get damaged. I could see the MGs insta-detonating the missile he fired, but they definitely didn’t pen him.

Hey Spook, you should play the Semovente 75/46 M43. It's a deeply overshadowed italian tank destroyer which can deliver an heavy punch but it's deeply ignored the potential it has. I am not gonna surrender in proposing this. I AM NOT GONNA SURRENDER, BE CLEAR!

This tank is the epitome of soviet design. Minimal crew members, minimum profile, maximum armor.
Turns out IRL it was deemed too costly an unreliable, so it was abandoned in favor of the IT-1, which was also abandoned for similar reasons
Also the development of goblin people to man it was deemed an utter failure.

Probelm why IT 1 was abandoned was that rocket was on top of tank not protected but both OBJ 775 and IT 1 were great for Soviets to improve their ATGMS.

I foresee this being hard to balance, at it's current BR it might be too good, but if you move it higher its basic missiles that have no tandem warhead or Irccm might become useless
Why not give all 9.3 better rounds in order to counter it more effectively
They could just fix the fuel tanks and reduce internal armor thickness
it will be moved to 10.0 so it can be added to the rest of the lineup

Day 38: Spookston you should play the russian traktor tank destroyer, the Zis-30, its so hilarious to play with its wacky suspension and to use in an uptier
Nah he should play the russian Yag-10, reversing to hide the front part of it and only show the gun while getting cover to the pilot is such a funny way to scare your enemies away.

0:18 So fun fact, first time I fought a 775, I was in a 105 Abrams, I hadn’t faced the thing before, so I didn’t even know where to begin with where to shoot it. I ended up in a standoff at a corner with him, guy rushes me, his shot does literally nothing, I pen his upper front plate with M774 and one shot him. I was like “that works.”

In your opinion, what is the scariest tanks to fight in it and what are the biggest weak spots of it. It looks like it might just be frontally immune to pretty much everything but I don’t wanna judge it that quickly
@@normallymute0131beware of the tam2, merkavas, russian tanks of other countries, and the m1128. They can all lower plate you and the merk/t72 can survive your missiles. Only the m1128 can frontally pen the UFP so you do have really good armor if your lower plate is hidden.

@@normallymute0131 possibly the early challengers, hard to kill but they will also have a hard time facing you, same for cheiftans but you can easily kill those. Honestly aa and ifvs are more of a threat as they might be on your side without you knowing.

In case you're still wondering for tank destroyers i believe it is:
130 sp = full downtier (no uptier)
110-120 sp = 0.3 uptier
100 sp = 0.7 uptier
90 sp = full uptier
You should revisit the T26E5, at 6.7 it's an absolute menace right now because of the recent BR changes

I'd love to see a vid on the 8,8 Flugabwherkanone, which is the 88 millimeter kanone, that unfortunately does not awbwher flugs, because the anti air timed fuse is dogwater. It does abwher tanks pretty well tho, and is in a really fun BR.
German is such a nice language. Depending on the translation Flugabwehrkanone is literally just aircraft rejection canon.

Fun fact: the driver is in the turret because the hull was so small a driver physically couldn't fit in there
They put the driver in the turret so he could join the gunner when the turret pops off.

T72 had more crew comfort than m60 which were twice the size, not to mention the t72 has more internal crew volume than a leo2

This tank reminds me of a very funny tank in WOT. Its called Light Tank 432 (based on the Objekt 432, duh) and its this exact same tank except it has a 85mm AP gun and its a scouting light tank. It was developed in the 1960s but it's another on-paper-only tank tho

The ERA and armour itself is way too effective compared to what it should actually do. That has nothing to do with Crew or spare parts or whatever.
Every Leopard that you got rollin out after the 2A4 would easily penetrate any T-Series tank from the front. But they dont, cus russian.
Real Life: Rubin Missile can penetrate a maximum of 250mm of armor

to clear what happened at 6:23, im pretty sure you can over-pressure vehicles that are in the middle of reloading if you shoot the barrel with he and since you (spookston) shot the atgm with your barrel basically inside them, you over-pressured yourself.
8:17 idk about a lot of other people but I mark targets with drones to zero in on them easier, not for my teammates. Could have been a light tank spawn camping from across the map and marking them to make it easier to find them.

It is easier to find enemy spot when you in the air by taping it on the map, cause in that case you can see a mark without a map

AWSOME VID!! Btw another Russian tank you should play is the T-28, in my opinion it’s one of the best low tier tanks for Russia especially because if you angle to where the barrel is over the machine gun turret, almost nothing at that BR will be able to kill you.

@Spookston That death to the M60TTS was due to an over pressure from your own missile. Looking back at it, the explosion was right over the top of the hull, where your missiles are kept and an open space leading to the turret basket. My best guess is your missile blew you up.
I had a funny instance happen where my black night’s APS activated on a BMP2M 2 meters away from my tank, and the APS blew the BMP’s missile up just as it launched, causing his own weapon to blow his tank up. The game called it a self distruct tho.
The 775 gets even worse when it's pancaked and bushed up.
Also, you should revisit the ELC bis after the recent br changes to 5.x vehicles. Tossing heat-fs at Tiger 1s is always fun.
