- In this video we go over how to operate the Pentair Screenlogic connect app, the different screens of screenlogic connect, also known as screenlogic 2 Screenlogic Connect controls the Pentair Easytouch automation system

How do you get your username and password for the remote setting on the screen logic app? I can't find anywhere that it addresses it and you already have these codes programmed in the video
I agree with Brian. I would be helpful if you did a video on the basics. How do you set up the wifi on the box and where you can find your device code

Has anyone had issues with their schedules not working? I have three different pump schedules. Weekdays, Weekends and Nights. Only two of them run. Is there an order you need to put the schedule in so that it will run? Or are their limits to how many say pump schedules you can run?
How do you reset the remotely control ?
Hi. Just watched your video and very impressed with your knowledge of how it all works. I live in Peoria and have had an IntelliTouch model i7+3 for years. Love the Screen Logic remote. I just started servicing my own pool this past year because I wanted to learn more about everything and I enjoy it. However, when I drained, acid washed my pool and changed the cartridges in my pentair filter, I had the power shut off for about a 12-14 hour period. When I filled up the pool, charged up the pump, etc. all seemed to be working great. However my auto timer which usually comes on at 10:30 pm now comes on at 1 or 2 pm in the afternoon. I do not know how to sync the time with my iphone. I have reset the pentair logic boxes inside my wifi box, reset my wifi, everything I can think of, but nada. I called Pentair but they had me on hold forever. I am leaving town for a week and don't want the pool running on the expensive APS time usage I am on so thought I would look on line, saw your video and hoped maybe you would see this and offer some help or advice. Thanks.
It sounds like you may have to manually set the time on the intellitouch or it’s possibly on the wrong time zone. If you need some help we can always come out and sort the bugs out for you.

How do you change password for ONLY remote access?
Thanks so much for the thorough video.. Mine just will not work. We have had tech out he dosen't have an answer. He switched out both parts Friday and it still wont work. I can turn it on manually but my app will not talk to it.
I got the code from the Screenlogic2 interface protocol adapter. I opened the Pentair Screenlogic Connect app and I typed the code and I'm not sure what should I enter for the password. I don't have the password, Is that possible to reset the password ?

I enjoy this set up! Do you have a video that shows how to empty the spa so all the water goes in to the pool? I knew how to turn the valves before automation, but didn't think to ask when the system was installed. Thanks for the informative videos!
Not sure what I’m doing wrong but I can not remotely control mine, only on local. When connected remotely there are different options then on the local and none of the controls are working. Needs to be more account settings or something, not sure if I’m connecting to someone else’s pool or not.

I wish I could say this was helpful...but I'm trying to log in the very first time and my app can't even find the system controller...so I'm stuck there! Yes, I'm on WIFI.

Great video. My spa settings for the rpm have been lost when switchingit on. The valves work fine. Do you know how I can fix this?
Is there a way to get this system to use sunset for the light timer? Hard to believe they don’t have a way to do this

Hi, my pool guys set up the equipment for us a few month ago, He hasn’t show up for cleaning for almost 4 weeks, I don’t want to but he is not reliable, we are gonna try another pool service company, How do I change the current log in and password, so he won’t be able to to access my panel. hi, I purchased a home that has a pentair screen logic pool and spa. I forgot to ask the previous owner the password for the screen logic app. I have been able to operate the pool/spa and all of the functions just fine from the pentair screen logic app on my phone when in local mode. I am unable to use the app to control my pool in remote mode because it asks for a password.... which I do not know. Any suggestions? please Pentair Screenlogic

What to do?
If the panel is in Time Out mode, is there any way to either 1 - turn off Time Out/Service mode or 2 - reset the panel (effectively cancels the Service or TimeOut mode)? I need to reset the panel to auto from the app.

So what type of the pentair panel should I install for my set up to do this. The specs call for: VS pump, heater, 2 lights and spa blower. Thank you
Will it be an elevated spa that spills into a pool? A basic Easytouch4 will handle that since all you need are two valve actuators and that’ll leave plenty of relays for the blower and lights.

I currently have an EasyTouch and use the ScreenLogic app. I am looking to rent my house and want to make it dead simple for guests to use. Is there any way to add a single button (either Pentair branded, or a wifi enabled smart button that sends web commands) that can let the guests click a button to turn on/off spa (preset only to 100 degrees, 4 hour timer). Similar to the little crank knobs (15m timer) etc at commercial properties. Thanks!
You can tie in a Pentair wireless remote or do a wall mounted control and configure it with basic controls.

My SreenLogic app is connected to my equipment but when I try controlling it, my equipment does not respond. Do you know how to fix that?

@@caryhancock2716 I figured it out. The beige small panel that is connected to the white box near the router was too close to the router itself. I moved it away as far as I could (the wire wasn’t that long so I had to deal with what I had) and the lights flickered green and it works now. Let me know if that helps or if you need a better explanation

Your address is right on the protocol adapter. It’s like on the first couple pages of the instruction booklet!
@@SwimmingPoolAZ-SPS What is the Protocol Adapter? do you have a picture? None of my devices installed have a six-digit code or called protocol adaptor.
I changed my wireless network and now I can’t get my mobile app to connect with my easytouch system. Any ideas?

@@jlee3787 yes it seemed like the wire between the two units was having an issue so I cut it back and re terminated the wires and it has been good for the past year. That was probably the issue all along!
Where can I find the pentair code for logging in plz?
It’s on the protocol adapter. That’s the thing that plugs into the router in your house. Looks like a rectangular box. The number should read Pentair: XX-XX-XX
But the Xs are letters and numbers

@@SwimmingPoolAZ-SPS I found the transmitter that connects to the protocol adapter, and I found the ethernet cable, so if I follow that, I should get to the protocol adapter. But the ethernet cable just disappears into the panel. Do I have to unscrew and remove the front part of the panel to find the protocol adapter? Should I?

I am a new homeowner that inherited pentair pool system. I am trying to find the ID and Password or find a way to reset it. Does anyone know where I can get that information.

I just changed my router moved from AT&T to spectrum. I have the ScreenLogic to which was just added about three months ago. How do I reconnect the ScreenLogic so I can read to my phone. I have tried pressing the button on the box to reset it I have unplugged it and done everything possible. I also went to the main panel under settings and Wi-Fi but didn’t work. On the app that’s on my phone everything opens up with the right code but everything is blank. I can’t move or set anything. I do believe I have it on 2.4g

I have noticed that my apple watch will only connect when my iphone is not on WIFI. Does anyone else have this issue?
That’s interesting. The wife has an Apple Watch so we’ll have to experiment with that...
Where can I find the Pentair address?
It’s on the protocol adapter (the brick shaped doohickey that the antenna plugs into. It’s right on the label.
What do Sync and Swim modes do in the SL2 lighting system? And, is there a way to create custom light shows instead of or in addition to the standard 6? Thanks!
Ryan C sync mode synchronizes all the lights to all do the same thing. Swim mode sets them up to change from one direction to another. Imagine you had a super long lap pool that had maybe 5 lights all down one wall, swim mode will set the lights up so that the colors fade and change in a sequence such that it looks like the colors are “swimming” from one end of the pool to the other. As far as the light shows, the standard 6 is all you get. There may be a firmware update down the road that allows for custom programing of additional light shows in the future though
