Aw, I wish I had Minsc when I discovered Jaheira's family. I ran into Fig with Jaheira on the party and quickly backed off so that I could come back once I recruited Minsc, but the initial sequence never re-triggered when I came back with both of them. I feel for people who stumble on the Elerrathin home without either of them in the active party.

It's in Baldur's Gate, just south of the bridge and the gate to the Upper City which can't be crossed because Larian never finished it.
