I used to go here every time I went to Oahu. Always sat at the counter by Chef Hide. Always started with hamachi carpaccio and then ate other dishes until I couldn’t eat anymore.
Two nights ago I went to chef’s new venture Izakaya Hideyoshi inside Osoyami Bar and Grill. Chef Hide still killing it. You should go.

First off Happy Birthday Felix!!! After that oh my goodness where to start? Being from Texas I know a thing or two about Texas Toast and yours went to a Spinal Tap Eleven! Dipped into the escargot butter and garlic it had me swooning! I'd have passed on the salad saving room for that killer ribeye which like Felix, is also my favorite cut of steak. And that crab mac and cheese would have put me into coma town deliciousness. Then came dessert with that bananas foster. Have mercy on a crutch! Which brings us to Da Vonne. YAAAAY! Love any time she's in one of y'alls video's. And lastly, the waiter/server, was world class. He educated, served, and cooked table side with flair and panache! Definitely worth over tipping to the max. Y'all's videos just keep getting better and better. Aloha and mahalo y'all!
