What people need to know is that they pay way more for deliveries but it’s a contract and one rail gets a cut so does goshare or FRAYT. That’s all before you get paid. So you have to find your own leads if you want to make real money or get your worth atleast

FRAYT is GARBAGE now. They cut the pay in my area too just like that. Paying the same for vans as they are midsize vehicles smh. All I can say to people is stop taking the cheap loads and make them pay more

Yeah, in March they’re cargo van orders was 55.02 starting off then went to 42.32 in June now they’re 24$ for cargo van loads. I’m in Indianapolis..

They’re doing the same thing here also. One rail uses other apps as well. What I do is don’t take the cheap loads and wait for them to post them on other apps for more money. Seems to be working. Dispatch is getting real cheap also.

I've noticed that the pay is higher on higher value items being delivered. I've done deliveries picking up from and dropping off to the same places with different pay but the value of the items was different. Higher pay on higher value items all the time.

Great Vid as usual Rome. Do you think it’s a good idea to start with a 16’ box truck instead of a cargo van? Have you noticed any requests for box trucks and if so, how does the pay look?
Alot of the apps won't show just box truck to me cause I don't have one, but I am sure there are more opportunities for a box truck. I know that you can reach out to Curri and tell them you have a box truck, they were looking for box trucks.

I’ve had my share of Jeffs in my deliveries, your positive attitude checked his negativity, I try and do the same, it ain’t easy!
Also just watched this video, it’s 3 weeks old but I’m in Southern Cali and I’m also feel the pinch from Frayt. Had the same type of orders now they are at about 50% and that started about 3-4 weeks ago too, wassup with that?

Jerome, I’ve seen college guys taking more than 4 tires in a car. Some others using trucks taking cargo van loads!
Bottom line is this: We all agree that cargo business today is not as feasible and it’s saturated with amateur drivers. HIGH SUPPLY of drivers!
Now the question is, how long can anyone still do it while it’s not feasible?
When many realize they can’t do it anymore the high supply of drivers will decrease and that will create the HIGH DEMAND on drivers again and the market will adjust accordingly!
Not to forget other factors today: inflation, gas price, seasonal fluctuations….

I think any item with glass should be loaded in the vertical position in you truck. Keeps the glass from breaking when you hit a bump. You should know this if you are a delivery professional.

The app does that. It is always running to track your location. Then it will say there is an order and it will never pop up for you to see it. They need to fix that!

Riddle me this, seems ur a regular at home improvement stores. Can you work a deal to borrow a cart, strap down the goods, roll the cart into the cargo van via personal ramps, lock-n-load, deliver, then return the cart?
Maybe you could, I never thought to ask. It would work, but only if you were going back towards the store when you were done.
If they declined the request, bed carts are a great investment for the biz. After researching, some are surprisingly affordable depending on the type and the vendor.

Everyone is cutting their pay because new people are coming on taking ANYTHING at ANY pay because they’re hungry for money plus they want to get one job under their belt so they take these cheap paying jobs. Then the company starts paying the lower fee after that.

I had a Lowes order tofay off Bungi for 47 dollars & 1.5 miles. I noticed Lowes charged the customer 99 dollars for the delivery. That's crazy to me they take more than half of the cut. Predatory IMO

Dude Frayt has literally only been dropping weak ass $18,$22,$24 orders in LA. I don’t even barely look at them anymore. 6 months ago the same orders were more than double the rate. I dropped off a heavy cabinet on a pallet the other day and they said it was midsize rate even though it took up half of my extended sprinter. Frayt grimy they be splitting orders up so they don't have to pay the drivers extra fees smh. And on top of that the lowered the pay for almost all there orders. Car orders I use to take for $22.50 are now $16.40.

Brother I hope you get to see this message, honestly this FRAYT is taking a big amount on the side. The only reason I say this because I am a independent contractor I own my own sprinter van and for a 10 miles load of 50 pounds I made 150$ the other day I did 100 miles for 300$ dollars .
I know some of the apps take almost half. I don't pay for Commercial Insurance or DOT with the apps. I don't have any desire to do OTR, I want to stay local. This is the reason why I think the apps and my own clientele is best for me right now.
