how do i add a bike or E-Scooter to uber eats? I don't have a car buy I want to do uber eats with my escooter
Did my first Uber Eats today and started with a double order!! went really well though and your vid was so helpful, Keep up the great work.
Great start Mark! Happy to help :)
Hi if you are doing double how we select which customer first?
Mee too! I love it I prefer this to just eat
sweet
How much have you made in one day before?
Toronto calling. Yours truly is an e-bike enthusiast and has procrastinated too long on the Uber eats gig. Thanks for the encouragement.
Mate this is what i was looking for! Great video, looking on starting with UberEats next week or so, thanks man!
Did my first delivery day today, and will not be returning to my boring 9-5. I averaged $4 more an hour, even including the commute time. This guide helped me have all the things I needed to be prepared, haven't come across an order yet that I didn't have adequate space/equipment.
Fantastic video! So professional and adding the screen layer really helped!
I bought a rad mission, an uber eats insulated backpack and will be hitting the road this week. I've been watching your videos and learning the hustle. Thank you so much for the video it really helps to know what I need too do. Communicating with the customer throughout the process is a pro move. You are a class act!
Appreciate that Jon! I've stopped messaging customers. I now focus on the customer interaction when I see them. Most customers now collect the order in person post pandemic so you can chat to them. This video was filmed during the pandemic so lot of the times you didn't even see the customer haha
How's the rad mission?! I also do UE and been considering it. thanks
@@maksymvinyarskyy2813 the rad mission at the sale price point of 900 has worked out for me. I first bought it bc my car died and I simply needed a way too get around town. Then I started watching delivery videos and thought maybe the mission can do it. It's worked out better then I expected. Copped the uber eats delivery bag and I've been off to the races almost made 100 in the last two days. I can roi the bike in 8 more days. It's just sick and you won't regret buying one they are just so much fun.
@@JonSudlowpc Lit! Have your rode up any hills with it? My main concern is the single speed - I have a good amount of hills in my area. Also from your experience, how's the range?
@@maksymvinyarskyy2813 It's relatively flat where I live. The mission can climb hills with you peddling and it's really not that bad but the hills are not like san francisco hills they are a lot gentler. If you have steep big hills then I would recommend their more powerful motors like the 750 watt ones. If you keep it in peddle assist mode 2-3 you can truly get 40+ miles per charge - the range has not been an issue!
I am going to start doing delivery via uber eats and door dash. I was apprehensive but this video really makes me feel confident about the process. Thank you for putting the info out here for the rest of us.
Have you started delivering? if so, how do you like it?
@@JadenHercules tried it, and did not like it very much at all.
Great video Jay - I’ve just lost my normal job, due to covid. Just been notified I have passed my checks and am ready to deliver (starting next week once I’ve bought my bags, etc) I have built my own ebike and can’t wait! Your vids have been really helpful also 👍
Thanks! Sorry to hear that...hopefully this will work out for you! Good luck :)
@@anais7118 about 5 weeks if I remember, it took a bit longer due to the amount applying, probs due to COVID 👍
did my first few orders today, this helped understand the process a bit better. thanks bro
Hi Jay. Just found your channel this evening, thought I take a look.
I'm also an uber eats driver in nottingham, been doing it about 18 months now. Since march full time job.
Loving it.
Keep up with the chanel Jan, ill keep watching.
Hello :) If you see me about say hello! This is definitely the best job I've had! The freedom and flexibility it gives to me is amazing, I can live my life the way I want! I don't have to go into a boring office and have a boss tell me what to do haha. I'm sure you will resonate! Thank you for your support 🙏🏽
Fantastic video. I’ve started the process to be a Uber eats delivery driver via Push bike. Need to order a few things then I’ll start my very first delivery. 😁
Start my first day tomorrow thanks very much for the tutorial.
I'm in NY I'm thinking of doing it on my escooter I just upgraded the battery to handle about 50 miles per charge on turbo 33mph can get more at lower speeds
This is a decent tutorial on doing it on a bicycle. I started doing it in US and it work really well.
Thanks for the tips, it even motivated me to start filming it.
I plan on doing this in the US aswell. Are you in a suburban area or a big city because on a bike it hypothetically seems difficult to do in a suburban area since the orders are multiple miles apart.
No worries at all :) Happy to be of service!
Luckily England is tiny in comparison so I don't have this problem!
@@jlynval I'm thinking about doing one day & want to do it in the suburbs because that's where I live & I want to be close to home.
Oh my days... this was something i needed lastweek.. haha. Cool i still found your channel though. Keep it up man.
Hi Lan! I thought this video would be useful for people starting up :) I hope to bring you more value through my videos! Do you have any video ideas for me?
I'm thinking of doing Uber eats by bike too. Very helpful video !
Thank you for this video!!! I thank God for the tips he instilled in your mind and the generous time it took for you to Put in to make the video❤️
You are welcome! I really felt good reading your comment :)
Gues what I did first and second day, once I packed the food a started delivery using only the blue arrow trying to figure out how I’m gonna get to the red dot customer omg , couldn’t manage to get Track navigation until I saw this video , thanks a lot il do it this weekend
thanks for the tips mate.
This was the most British Uber eats video tutorial I’ve ever seen 😂
Which parts exactly? LOL 😂
SO YOU BREAK TRAFFIC LAWS TO PROFIT? CRAPPY PAY AND DANGEROUS.
take a deep breath martin
I’m starting Uber eats on Sunday early morning for the first time hopefully it goes well I’m doing it in Santa Monica all day

Just started working for uber eats 2 days ago, been fun so far:)
I really enjoy it too!

£100 maybe
It's an excellent educational video. thanks

Thanks for creating
Really helpfull video, thanks a lot Jay, cheers from Argentina 👍
You're welcome :) That is so cool you are from Argentina! I have a few friends from Argentina that I have met travelling around the world!
i work for UberEats car Delivery in Blackpool it's fun i like it a lot
Thanks for the explanation. Helps a lot. Is there an option in the Uber app to see what's foods need to deliver before accepting a job? Hate drinks that can be spilt as I started delivering on eBike. It's a bit stupid also by Uber no giving a choice to the rider to choose the type of root you prefer because as there is no option to choose as eBike as a type of transport but the only bicycle … So they give only one root option - bicycle route. Hate going through the bumpy roads because that's how the bicycle route is!!!
New to channel and cheers from America 🇺🇸 I had to put my scooter in the shop but hoping next weekend I'll be able to do my first few orders. 😀
AND BREAK TRAFFIC LAWS?
@@martinkent333 In America?? never!
@@carstarsarstenstesenn Traffic laws only work on folks with a conscience. Ethics. America profits by being slimy. The July 4th parade of families speeding and blowing stop signs, glorifies old George Washington who rolls over in his grave, on the nation's birthday. I recommend posting stop sign compliance rates at capital city schools to shock the stakeholders into compliance. Nothing transforms weasels into human beings, like a traffic safety "report card."
I'm gonna do my first delivery today and I'm really nervous about everything, pickup, cycling on the road, dropoff.. 😬. But this video was very clear and informative!
I’m sure you did well :) How did it go?
@@GigHustle honestly it went pretty well, vibing the streets of Edinburgh on my bike listening to my favourite music and earning money 🤑

Thinking of doing ubereats on my ebike during the summer when I don't work. Appreciate the video.
What do you do for the rest of the year? If you don't mind me asking!

Nice vid :- )
Love how you blurred the number on the door but the bins have the numbers in massive white font on them lol
I wish this was true but I actually blurred out the full address on the door not just the number haha 😂
I love watching this video thank you so much bro, I'm into delivery in my country and as a foreigner what's is required to start up a delivery job in Canada or US
Great video. My question is..how do you decide whether to accept or decline an order?
I've applied to do Uber Eat's as a side hustle alongside my full time job to earn extra money.
Smart decision Matt! This is a fantastic side hustle and it's very flexible :)

I started with JE years ago, just got back into it. Then signed with Uber.. so far it's not going as sweet as I thought. Still second night on Uber so probably gotta find the hotspots to loiter. I've found a place where the vets hang but even there it's quiet mostly.
Hopefully it picks up. Can't wait for roo to complete the waitlist too.
Uber Eats is slow nowadays. Only in certain locations will it be busy. Deliveroo and Just Eat most likely have the majority of the market share 👍
Not UberEats, but I applied for Wolt and I hope I get the job
Just starting today! excited to get going
Long it took to take your can get activated
@@keemygameryt6324 not long mate! I signed up then I signed for a dbs form you go to the post office to have it checked and you pay £6 or something then you’re good to go you need to get your bag sorted and you’re good
My bike & phone mount come on the 23rd, can't wait to start
Did you go for the Quad Lock? Which bike did you get? :)
@@GigHustle Bike is Highland Huff 26" Inch for women, I used Klarna so I make 2 week payments of 25$ so its really good I did just drop 200 for it, and I actually went for bike lock for 5$ from Walgreen's > Master Lock Bike Combo Dl Bike Combo Lock< but looking into getting the kryptonite lock :)
Before you take the order, does it tell you the approximate area on where the persons house is? Because what if you pick up the food, and then it shows you where the persons house is and it’s too far away?
Second day today! Really enjoying it but I am curious if you can tell me if there’s a way to see how far the customer is from the restaurant before you accept the order? A few times I’ve been given a 2-2.5 mile journey which is stressful because the food begins to cool down/long wait as I’m a cyclist could get frustrating
In the UK and Europe we don't have access to this information until we collect the order. In the US they can see the fare amount, drop off location and customer tip before even accepting the order. It's just a matter of time before we get access to this. In regards to the food cooling down, I wouldn't worry too much about this! Obviously it's great to deliver hot food but it's not always possible and customers understand that food can get cold in transit. Even with car drivers the food gets cold. I suggest buying a smaller thermal bag to put inside your larger thermal backpack to keep the food warmer 👍🏽
I’m thinking about working for Uber eats now. I only have manual push bike 😩 good way of keeping fit to. Will definitely consider getting electric bike plus definitely doing cbt test to get around better. Usually work in health care but wanting a change.
Hey Yaska! You can definitely do it on a pushbike, maybe try it out on that first and then invest in an electric bike :) I LOVE this work, so it's definitely something I would recommend! You can also do it as a side hustle alongside your main job, that would work well :) Any questions let me know! I'm happy to help!
I would be walking up any steep hills 😩 I do have a question. How long in minutes would you get from time of food despatched to you to customers home address? Roughly I wouldn’t want food to go cool. All I need to buy is bike phone holder everything else is pretty much in place. X
@@yaskac2524 on a bike most of my deliveries are under 10mins away. If you have a decent thermal backpack you won't have problems with the food getting cold 👍🏽 The essentials are a vehicle, power bank, thermal backpack, phone and a phone holder. I would highly recommend getting a quad lock phone holder. I have a link in the description for 10% off :)
@@GigHustle can I buy the Uber gear ? Backpack , hi vis vest with logo. I do love cycling it’s my happy place.
@@yaskac2524 I would recommend signing up for Deliveroo (I have a referral link in the description of my video) once you sign up they send you the kit absolutely FREE! I would use this to start off with and then invest in better quality gear later on. Deliveroo is hiring right now and they might be quicker to get onto then Uber/Stuart (this varies from person to person). I personally use Stuart's kit, they send you a thermal backpack and jacket which is really good quality. You pay this off over time through deliveries. I would recommend signing up to all of the apps, this will really help you to get a consistent amount of orders. I LOVE riding my bike too, so making money at the same time is great :)
hey Gig, just wondering what equipment you suggest for your bike
Hi, friend. how long does the bike keep the battery charge? I work in Moscow on a scooter, greetings from Moscow
Great informative video, may I ask have you got a video on how to preset messages using swift key and how to integrate it with uber eats app ease???
I wish I’d done this when I was out of work during the various lock downs in the last year , I’m gonna do it on the next one 😂
I was out of work and this worked out perfectly for me :)
I am going to join Uber eats with an e bike next month. How do you handle late night orders when the lobby is closed on a bike
so a quick question: What do you do on rainy or bad weather days, seeing that you are on a (an open) bicycle?
Amazing I like your video god bless you
Cheers mate :) Appreciate your kind words Cicinio!
I’m an Ubereats driver in Boston, making about $20-$26 an hour.
i just bought a cargo ebike and i think id kinda fancy doing this. I dont need to earn a ton - can you just set aside a few days a week to do it without offer consequences?
The only thing that would really concern me is delivering to blocks of flats and just hoping the bike is still there when you get back
Hello, can you put a link to the bag you use to transport meals
Well done
I have a surely big easy I'm looking into delivery any tips would help thanks for the video
I did 3 days with uber east on my ebike it kicked my but after my battery died going up hill. Its a young mans game.
I've got the One Delivery Franchise in Newhaven and I'm thinking of making similar videos, how do you mirror the app screen on your videos?
I just got my background check yesterday and plan to do this on a rentable ebike in my spare until i can build up a handful of segway ninebot maxes maybe 4-6 of them to have enough battery power to do this as many hours as i want or can to phase out my two fast food jobs and get a autocad certification i want to do this green cause no gas usage good for enviroment and no insurance gas car payments so besides my paying for the scooters and gear i use all the green i earn is mine minus taxes i also plan to use my autocad skills to develop little parts and gadgets and designs to assist with this job any tips or tricks on the ground floor of doing this would be great
Did one order yesterday and one today had to make some small tweaks to set up but went well bird having a zone limit sort of gets in way but i plan tonget that segway so i can increase my zone i also made my own sorta go green delivery business card type thing with a anonymous fb to increase awareness cause think im the only scooter delivery in my area
@@GigHustle ok
Starting Uber Eats on my bike soon and this video is amazing and so helpful! Question though: I saw that you took a picture at the door to verify the delivery. In cases where the customer meets you outside, or gets the order in person (In non pandemic times) how do you verify or finish the order? Do you still take a picture before you hand the order over? Sorry if the question is silly, just want to make sure ahead of time.
Hey Carlos! I wish I had this video before I started! That's why I made it :) You can just take a photo of the door of the house or the house itself...however I have started to use the 'skip' feature which allows to skip the photo and just add the note. The photo isn't to verify the food has been delivered it's to let the customer know where the order is 👍🏽
Hey Carlos, did u use your own standard bike or an e-bike, if u did use a standard bike how was it (as I want to start uber eats but I only have a regular bike)
@@hasanisrar1848 I want to use a regular bike too because e-bikes are kind of expensive. I only know 2 guys at my job who own e-bikes.
@@ashleystar4773 I started with a bike(had nights where I'd do nearly 40 miles).. after a few weeks I upgraded to an ebike (£900)
So.. I'm a bit confused. For deliveries on Uber, do I just press go as if I were going to do rideshare or will it give me an option if I want to change it to deliveries? And do I need to use the Uber Eats app to do the deliveries?
I live less than 3 minutes from the city centre where most restaurants are - going home between each delivery to use my home internet would be better than hanging around outside wouldn’t it ?
Are you able to see the rough area the customer is located before accepting the order?
i live near you . I live in Nottingham
How do you get the clipborad working? i like that idea i have the clips but i cant use them

How do you know the order wont be to large for your bike? Do you just have to accept it, and then cancel once you see its too large?
friend when you carry a big pizza how do you transport it on your bike?
Unfortunately I can't see what you're tapping on the screen. I just did my first delivery and it was a little confusing to find how to contact the customer to let them know I was coming.
Hi can can j just ask is it possible to turn off the go online button after i pick up order as my insurance is too much expensive hourly
I am thinking about working for uber eats myself
I just signed up to do Uber Eats with my mountain bicycle. How do I harness the uber eats delivery bag on my bicycle so that I can carefully make deliveries?

Just about to start doing this with push bike to see what it's all about and maybe do as a second job for a little extra cash
AND BREAK TRAFFIC LAWS?
As a Takesway delivery guy the Uber app is so much better
I want to work for ubereats/deliveroo in the future but I'm not that confident in my biking skills or riding on the roads, any tips/advice?
Do you have to keep messaging the customer or does the app tell the customer everything? I know deliveroo the customer gets a map to see where you are in real time. Deliveroo I rarely have to contact the customer unless I really need to. Due to the map a lot of customers wait for me outside. However I will say messaging or calling the customer especially uni orders is a big help as it prompts them to wait for u outside or to give you clear indication of exactly which block they are in. When helping my friend out in the car I’ll do all the calls etc while he drives. Over the festive period we’d wear Santa hats, staple a little merry Christmas note to the order. It helped with getting tips lol 😂
I’ve stopped messaging the customers Rich! The app tells them everything and I focus on my interaction with them when I’m face to face I love how you and your mate work together to help each other! I’m going to film a few delivery videos where I follow my friend around the city! Even if I don’t get paid anything, I’m making money from CZcams now so I’m still getting paid for riding around with my mate
Uncertain of everything to do. I’m thinking of my first delivery - a practice run - ordering for myself ….and delivering my own order - odd ? Well, see how it goes without getting it wrong and upsetting any customers
How to text your customers so quick when your on your way? What do you use?
I plane on doing this when i finally get my high powered e scooter. Is it worth is
I do it on Motorized bicycle 66-80cc
I will start with UberEats delivery soon by my motorbike in Basel, Switzerland. I'm exited.🙂
Do people also pay with cash sometimes or is it already paid all the time?
