started playing tekken 7 on a keyboard and after trying a stick, i can honestly say that kb is more precise but puts more strain on the finger/hand bones and muscles in longer playtimes but then the stick is less precise but the strain on the hand is far less
To me is the opposite. I started with controller, then stick then I tried keyboard. I struggled so much with controller then I wanted to try a stick, at first it was hard, because I needed to go back in practice mode and learn all the stuffs again with a stick. But when I got used to stick (in like a pair of weeks) I got very good execution and I had better overall reactions (that I had not on controller). I tried keyboard too but same of controller, I can't be precise or I drop combos in time to time. I just can't play fighting games with just fingers. Like you said playing controller/keyboard/mixbox puts so much strain in the fingers. To me it's easier and comfortable using my whole arm playing stick. And I find it way more funnier playing it instead of controller/keyboard. The arcade experience is on another level
it's the opposite for me as well, keyboard is just more comfortable for me.
That's why you gotta get a hitbox. The precision of keyboard plus the ergonomics and comfort of a stick. Best of both worlds

Once you learn the motions on stick the strain on the wrist and fingers is much higher than on kb because the motions are bigger and you have to do more.
I am keyboard user, so for me mixbox is just wasd and 8 buttons.
I used to play with keyboard. But they’re so weird and annoying, some keyboards won’t let me input d+f+2 at the same time to perform electric. Unless you’re using nkro keyboards, which are very expensive. You’re having similar issues?
Mix box is a waste of money... well, arcade sticks are also the waste of money keyboard is the best!

If it was a korean stick then the speed should be close however mixbox is much more reliable for clean inputs.

Kbd is easy you just hold back, tip down, release back and repeat or hold back, tip down, then forward and repeat without releasing back
Been trying to pick this up from decades of using arcade stick. It's not going well....XD

Lightweight rushing is over that difficult on a keyboard because you can press your fingers so quick that imports just basically connect to each other if you're doing it or controller it works similar because it's much closer but then you know you've got to quickly while your phone back and forth and does her a lot

Which type of key do you think is the best for fast wave dashing? Blue, red etc?
Obviously red as they are linear switches, literally designed for fastest possible inputs. Assuming you don't know much about key switches and you are just referring to cherry MX and similar switches which in that case red are linear
It's obviously the blueberry cherry pie, made with the bottom mold of a JWK UHMWPE housing, a top of a Cherry housing (must be a good one), and the stem of a Novelkeys X Kailh Blueberry V1, Then, you have to use a 35g slow spring from Sprit, and then Jailhouse and Ball Bearing (1.5mm ball bearing) mod the switch.

I can only wavedash cleanly on 1P and I am so bad at 2P. I dunno how the heck you can be comfortable alternating the middle and ring finger.
I was the same and now my 2P side is pretty decent, I recommend tilting your wrist with the motion, like tap with the ring finger then tilt your wrist clockwise till you middle finger touches the key, then tilt it counter clockwise to till the ring finger comes down and the middle finger automatically comes up. I find that a lot of the trouble came from trying to do this with only my fingers cuz its so difficult to use them individually. Using the wrist more helps eliminate a lot of that, and as you get better you will learn to use fingers and wrist and then you will have a pretty damn fast wavedash. Anyway thats my advice as someone who struggled with this.

Practice, you have to be good from both sides. Im definitely a 1p main but ik how to do my shit from 2p, just a little less consistent
All practice. As a Kazuya main I tend to play on whatever side feels weaker. Once it feels really solid I switch to the other side. There's nothing like getting Mishima side checked (throwing a mishima to the other side to see if they are total shit on that side) only to be thrown onto your fastest side. Feels great lmao.

He isnt doing electrics on the wasd keys. He has binded one of his other buttons to forward and he presses it with the 2 simultaneously to get electrics

Laptop lol, think with that laptop price i can make a better pc. Lga 1155s i7 3770k - 980 is cheaper than that laptop price(before corona), cherry on top with ssd and at least 2 terrabyte hdd of space.. yummy, though not as overpriced as mac, laptop is just the same to those who understands, and gets hot like stupid.

This thing is useless to me since I play on keyboard and I use arrows for movements not the stupid wsad ! Except for Resident evil and devil may cry games ! If I can't use movements with my right hand so this thing is gonna be useless to me ! NB been playing video games including fighting ones since 96 on my PC !
Are people stupid to use left hand for movement while they are right handed ???;!! and they stupidly say they can't get the 369 motion to come out ! Guess what ! I can even perform Zangief and Hugo s Grab moves ! With keyboard ! As I said if I can't use arrows for movements ! This is useless to me ! Well I can manage myself using Dpad but in the case I don't have keyboard I prefer joystick witch means my first choice is keyboard with arrows not stupid wsad , Joystick then comes the Dpad !
