- The watch featured in this video is the TRT110H-3AV, which I purchased at a local Walmart store for $31.92 (plus tax) just the other day. The functions of this watch are basically identical to the functions of the W735 and W736 vibration alarm watches which I purchased about a year earlier. The module is different because the LCD screen is slightly different. The model in this video also has a mud resistant design which means that the buttons (or pushers) have an extra level of protection compared to many other watches. There are other variations of the TRT100H available in different colors. Casio's suggested price is $42.95 but, again, it's usually very easy to find a lower price.
This watch displays the time, date and day of the week on the main timekeeping screen, with either a 12-hour or 24-hour display of the local time in hours, minutes and seconds. It has a countdown timer which can be set to any combination of hours and minutes from just one minute up to a full 24 hours. The stopwatch is a 24-hour stopwatch with an optional 5-second countdown before it starts counting forward. There's also a dual time mode where the user can set the hours and minutes to some time different from the local time setting. And, of course, it also has an LED backlight so you can easily and clearly see the time for a couple of seconds in the dark, each time you press the light button on the front of the watch.
The watch can be set to either make audible "beeps" or vibrations to alert the user to things like the end of a countdown timer, the hourly chime and the daily alarm. To be clear, when the watch is in vibration mode it doesn't make any sounds and when it's in the mode which makes sounds it will not vibrate.
The watch features a 10-year battery, which is a lithium CR2032 battery (the same battery which is commonly used in garage door openers and automobile key fobs). In addition to being mud resistant it is water resistant to 100 meters (10 Bar). It weighs right around 50 grams.
Thank you, my alarm used to go off at 3am. Life saver!
Hi Greg,
Same thing here, I don't expect to need adjusting the year to 2099, someday in the future...
But still, one interesting feature for future lovers of Casio's watches.
Well deserved thumbs up review!
I stumbled on this one at Walmart as well. I liked it so much I got both the green ones they had on the shelf. I have a LOT of watches, including 3 Mudmasters and this little green friend is what I wear daily! Perfect size, not tiny but not huge, great functionality, with current time running in all modes! The vibe works like a charm and it surprises me how often I use that feature. Great review.
I bought one about two months ago (all black) I liked it so much that I decided to get the army green one, then I liked that one so much that I got the khaki with the negative display, needless to say, I really like the mud resist, so much so, that it has taken over as my favorite Casio watch (also really like the 736H) really love the overall design and functions. I like the fact that the pushers are covered with a rubber jacket, if you will... I love all my Casio's, but these have stood out as my favorite, the strap is very comfortable, the module is big, but not overly big, I feel it's just the right size.
Absolutely gorgeous watch. I have the black and blue version.
Today I really enjoyed your time keeping show it's great analyse thank you so much see you
I am half deaf so this is right up my alley. Thanks for the demonstration.
hahaha same!
Thank you, friend, for explaining everything so well, with your help I set everything up 👍🏻😉
I got the grey version today and I fell in love with it immediately! I've worn AE-1000W for 7 years, but I thought the vibration alarm feature would be necessary when I join the military next month so I bought this one. (Shapes of W735 & W736 and "VIBRATION ALARM" marking just don't look good to me haha. Those are popular among other Korean draftees though) Added protection on the buttons and vibration alarm sure will come handy, but I wish the vibration was a bit stronger.
I want it all ! Alarm, vibration, solar, multiband, bluetooth all at the same time
You need a G Shock then!
Thanks, man. Sure beats the owner's manual which I don't know where it is anyway! Happy daylight savings😁
U gotta luv walmart clearance, got mine for $9.00 new
I just bought the W 736 to use as daily. I like it so far.
The countdown feature for the stopwatch is a very nice feature. I have a W-94H with a similar layout but not the vibration feature, and it has the same stopwatch countdown. Fantastic!
Perfect power whatch I buying for sure ❤❤❤
I have the black and the green ones, great watches! 💪 🍻 🎊 . Thank you for the review! I onky wishes that they will make a solar one with vibration alarm also!
Casio puts out a lot of understated gems. Great video, as always, you're very professional.
Greg happy holiday to you buddy 👍
Thank you for the only good review on youtube on this amazing watch 👏
Another comfy review!
With the vibration it's kind of a shame there's only one alarm, as I feel like someone wanting to be quietly alerted of something could want reminders throughout the day
I originally wanted W735 or W736, but 110H shape is better, but unfortunately my country has not introduced
My quartz watches' accuracies using WatchCheck:
Casio G5600: +37s over 2,5 mo -> +14,8s/mo
Casio G-9000 Mudman: +10,1s over 8,5mo -> +1,2s/mo
Casio AE-1500WH: -24,7s over 3,5mo -> -7,1s/mo
Casio F-91W: +25,8s over 7mo -> +3,7s/mo
Citizen Promaster Tough: -95,6s over 7,5mo -> -12,7s/mo
Eterna Eternity*: +29s over 11,5mo -> +2,5s/mo
(No seconds hand, so slightly hard to measure, which is why I check it just about yearly. The previous 13 months seemed to be +0,8s, which would be +0,06s/mo. The truth is probably between these two.)
I also have one Swatch and an older Seiko diver which I haven't measured. But all of these seem to come in under +-15s/mo, most under +-10s/mo, and half under +-4s/mo.
Thanks Greg great video as always
I like the army green one!! Most of G-Shock mud resistant watches have stiff buttons, and that's one of the biggest complaints about the mud resistant models.
The Mudmaster and Rangeman don't have them which is a bonus. This one on the other hand, also has those buttons.
Thank you very much that was really so helpful
For setting TIME, Go to 2:47 …✅
I've always wanted a vibrating alarm, along with Solar, and Multiband 6. Casio never seems to mix those features together.
They did with the GW-400 G-Shock. The vibration alarm was pretty weak on that.
@@traviswalker8933 Wow!!! Never knew about this. It even has the moonphase which is a minor thing that I happen to love. Thanks for the reply!!!
@@tremelo8508 the moonphase and tide graph data are pretty slow on it considering it's an older release. If you can put up with that, then it's the watch for you.
@@traviswalker8933 I think the vibration is pretty weak on all watches I have tried that have it. Forget about waking up to one. If I did, I would assume I am in the half dream/half wake state and go back to sleep lol!!! As long as I could feel the vibration during waking hours it would suffice. It seems to be Casio policy to never give you a watch that has everything to keep you buying multiple watches. If they did this in a modern model, I would look into it.
@@tremelo8508 they did make a feature packed watch called the G-7800 but it didn't have the vibration alarm feature. The vibrations alarms on these watches aren't meant to wake you up. They are just there to alert you. Atleast they are better than Timex watches durability wise as they have a tendency to blank out and reset.
God Bless You, sir!!
Does anyone know if Casio make a less chunky / beefy vibration alarm watch?
I call these watches g-shooks. They won’t take a shock, but they’ll take a shake.
Hello Greg, I congratulate you for the good videos, they are very helpful. I wanted to know if this Casio Mud Resist by bringing the buttons covered with rubber, this system would be durable over time or do you think that after a few years it will deteriorate? Greetings.
Hi i am from Colombia .
I hace a question
How good Is the vibration?
Is it strong to feel no the wrist outdoor walking or running ?
Or
Is it weak to feel?
I would like to know it before buy it..
Thannks
Thank you for the review. How is the size compared to the 735h?
How do I get it to beep? When using timer or stop watch. Doesn't beep .. or make it beep every hour?
The explanation is about 14 minutes into this video.
@@GoodTimekeeper thanks..I figured it out!... 👍
Mine only vibrates hourly and I have both on s i g and vib
Would be a cool addition for me but I need four alarms! Oh well 😕
I don't understand how a watch designed for a very useful vibration alarm only has one daily alarm.
That's a big let down if you think about it
Nice video as always Greg. I notice you really like the cheaper Casio's that are usually sold at Walmart , Target , ect. I generally stay away from those watches. I'm more into Casio G-Shocks , Vintage Casio G-Shocks and Vintage Casio watches. My 3 favorite Casio's is the RISEMAN GW-9200 , RANGEMAN GW-9400 and a few FROGMAN watches GWF-1000 , GW-200Z , DW-8200 and GWF-D1000B. Do you collect any Vintage Casio watches?
He does have a few vintage watches. There are videos on them.
But none of them is G-Shock, isn't it?
Nice review Greg, as always, I do have to say this watch is a nightmare to remove and replace the straps ( Which you must do to change the battery) for that reason I give this watch a thumbs down. by contrast the AE 1200 is so much easier to change batteries and straps. Other than that however the watch is great!
It has ten years of battery, in fact, may be longer, do not worry about this
🔝🔝🔝Nice!!!
😀😀C00l
Great great video great but I like big watches like the 9400 and bigger
Dont get into gps watches my friend. It really multiplicates money spent.
Sooooooooooo much precious time is wasted by NON STOP repetition...everything is said twice and we still have not even heard the vibration or the sound.
It would make a good tradesman watch!
