Hi! I have a mercedes c300e 2020 model. Is it ok if the oil level on the dipstick touches the "max" indicator? Mine goes up to the letter X. According to the manual, the oil level should be right below the "max" mark.

I got mercedes c class c220 diesel 2005 , manual book writing 6,5 liters , capasity should be but computer shows 7,4 l does my engine could be demaged i bought i believe car was driven 20000 km :D

@@PeterFinnTheCarDoctor thanks , but i got sometimes reduce oil level , warning light for couple seconds , when i do electroning mesure on cold shows 7.5 after engine starts i got to 6.4 down i dont knew the sensor is bad or not huh hate these electronics
