    Thanks for posting. A very useful video. If you pressure washed the seat (ie got it wet) would that possibly damage the sensors in the seat?

      No you should be OK but I would suck it up with a vacuum or leave them out and the sun to dry so it can dry up evenly. Otherwise it will leave water stains

    Would this be the same/similar for a 2014 Elantra?

    • @559powerscape
      @559powerscape  Před 4 lety

      Yes it should be....its the same body style if not very similar

    Would this work for the previous iterations of the Hyundai Sonata (2005)?

    • @559powerscape
      @559powerscape  Před rokem

      Im honestly not sure thats a different body style i dont know if it would be the same. But process should be similar to it

    Take the battery out first or no need?

    • @559powerscape
      @559powerscape  Před 3 lety

      You can disconnect the negative cable to be on the safe side

  • @Jadeemo2619
    @Jadeemo2619 Před 4 lety +2

    Hey! Question! Do I have to disconnect the battery so it would not trigger the airbags?

    • @559powerscape
      @559powerscape  Před 4 lety

      You can disconnect the negative cable, but Ihave Remove a bunch of seats from cars and never had an issue. But just for mind at ease, disconnect the negative cable.

    Did you disconnect the battery before you removed the seat?

    Interior repair ain’t legit unless it has chip bag contents on the floor.

    pressure wash a seat?.......wtf....I'd just steam and hand scrub those actually...less likely to damage anything.

    • @559powerscape
      @559powerscape  Před 4 lety +2

      Damage what? Done it thousands of times and never damaged a seat The pressure washer washes all the dirt off and out the cushion using a steam machine or a carpet washer might get it out but you're going to work hard to get all that out and when you remove the seats you're able to remove all the debris that are underneath the seat and wash the carpet. All you do is pressure wash the seats let him sit in the sun and dry out then install them and they look brand new

      That's what my dealership does for $100...full interior cleaning and pressure wash seats if needed.
