There's nothing like to salute only to your senior, it's a rule in the army to salute every army personnel if he/she salutes you, and don't comment if you don't know the situation, there were many officers in the premises

Omg what an entry 😮 what it takes to be a three start officer in army? Is it tougher than IAS? Even ias & IPs entries are nothing in front of this
Yes it tougher than civil services
Firstly u have to clear UPSC NDA exam then SSB interview ( India's toughest interview) then 3 years training at NDA then one year training at IMA then u will be lieutenant in army then u have to do multiple courses from India and UK USA and sometimes from Australia and Indonesia ect.
And you have to keep best performance in your 32-35 years of service in army
Then u may get the post
And one more thing Indian army officer don't contain any kind of entry exit like civil servents , Indian military focus on work and capabilities not on entry. Military officers never hire a camera team to show off everything .
