I love what you did with BOTH hands, especially the left hand! The right hand carried the melody along with your interpretation and improvisation to enhance the melody. Your left hand gave us that laid back feeling of being in Georgia. Wonderful arrangement!

Do those lucky patrons of the Hotel where your performing appreciate what an awesome talent is in their midst ? If I were them I would stop my small talk , pause and drink-in the wondrous musical odyssey you take them on, and be thankful they are witnessing at first hand such talent ! Your wonderful performance reminds me vividly of the great Jazz pianist Ahmad Jamal and his virtuosity dating from his famous debut at Chicago's Pershing lounge and hotel back in 1958 (before either of us were born !)
and when he would pour his heart and soul out to the audible backdrop of peoples chattering and plates and glasses clattering and tinkering ! A few years back I was listening to JAZZ 88 WBGO, 88.3 FM in Newark N.J. online and a Female Drummer said that her preference was to play in a Smoke Filled Room With No Amplification. I think it is safe to say that the lights in the house should be turned down also. Sangah, You say that You are a Lounge Pianist. I say!: You are a Pianist that is currently playing in Lounges. You played this song like You were in a small Club back in the 1930's. In other words...YOU NAILED IT!!! P.S. Two other songs to perform both at home on Your Piano, and on The Lounges Piano. Sangah, you’re on fire with this rendition! Love the bluesy flourishes, and always your left hand bass is truly virtuoso! Three of my favorites are from this day at the hotel (based on the same camera angle and lighting and same guy walking back and forth) - you were REALLY inspired this day! For those who haven’t seen Autumn Leaves and Misty from this same day at the hotel, go watch now. It really is must listen! 🙌🏿 👏🏿❤

Hi Sangah, I really liked your "creation" og Georgia, that piano has a beautiful sound and I love the rhytm you give to your left hand, it makes it different. I see you like The Beatles songs a lot, just like me. I will keep listening to you, I am passionate about classical music, Chopin, Liszt, Grieg, Debussy, Rachmaninov, but I love jazz and the sound tracks of many films. I noticed the accented notes on the right hand which does the story telling of the piece. The accented notes are the techniques you pointed out in the Hanon finger exercise video--makes a lot of difference how the piece sounds, a lot of feelings, colours! Bravo!

I sometimes play piano cover of various songs and hymns on the upright piano at the dinning room at my mom's care home during their meal time. I want to practice and master this piece so I can play it with more feeling and error free of course.
I lack practice and am limited to playing in key of C cuz that's my comfort scale. Need to practice that Hanon exercise in all scales!!! And also practice playing basic triads in all scales and inverting them so I can play in other scales. It's my dream job to play lounge piano like you! Lol. I should've practiced more many years ago. A jazz lounge pianist here in Vancouver, Canada advised me to practice all scales and chords but haven't kept it up due to busyness with work. 😧😞

Sangah Noona oh sure, meanwhile I am ok. But of course at first sight when I faced all that blood in the kitchen and I saw that finger, I was shocked and hyperventilating. I ended in the emergency room. There they already told me, that the fingernail will come off. I hate that. Arrrgh.
Meanwhile it is a lot better. Once a week I see my medic and she says that the healing process is quite good for an old man as i am. Hahahaha.
