So, I am glad to have found your channel. I still do not have all of the major and minor chords etched into memory yet. But, I am diligent, and will stay determined. @@battle-techs Happy to hear that Bryant! I recommend you to master major/minor scales first. You will be free after you really MASTER it. Not just able to play them. MASTER IT. You will be able to play more songs in more possibilities without focusing figuring out the chords/scales. ❤😉👍

Sangah, I just finished watching you Lounge Pianist story and what an amazing and humble beginning for a highschool student that was con (uncourage) by her father to jump in and play. Your dad was your first Network... This video has many suggestions for artist of different instruments, styles and that includes art forms. If I was still teaching this video would be show in my highschool classes.

It sounds like a cool job to work as a lounge pianist. I'm just an intermediate piano player but dream to work in a hotel lounge playing the piano even if i were half as good as you. You are amazing to watch. I play blues, jazz, and some classical guitar but would love to advance on the piano. Also love watching your videos. Thanks.
Never spent much time in Seoul... I did spend lots of time in Pusan... (which I think is spelled Busan in Korea) and Chinhae. I loved the folks, loved the Bulgogi and Kimchi and Bimbibop (?). Glad you're here in the USA!

Thanks for the wonderful music and your story!! Its so nice to see such a talent who obviously enjoys at her craft. My father and I both love music and you have been such a joy for us to listen to and watch. My dad is about to celebrate his 92nd birthday and still plays piano a few hours a day as he has done since me and my siblings were little. My Dad is a retired a tradesmen who always worked to support his family but I have heard him say many times that if he had was able to pick his dream job,it wouldn't be a Doctor or professional athlete, it would be as a lounge pianist. I wish you all the success in your continued pursuits!!!. p.s. One of my dads favorite songs is Skylark by Hoagy Carmichael, he plays it but always complains that he cant do it justice. Nice story of your life. I found you by chance scrolling CZcams, just now. I enjoy your piano playing, you are very talented and have a great sense of humor. I too am a musician and pilot, but I’ve played keys only in bands, playing popular cover music. Hopefully, one day I’ll get motivated to play solo piano in a restaurant or hotel.
You're an awesome woman. I don't know why I relate on you whenever I watch your videos. Now telling the story of your music career made sense to me. we both somewhat have the same story. Been a lounge musician since 2004 (tho as a flutist) and been travelling to asia till 2010 then decided to go back home and still playing in hotels here in The Phil. Still working on my Grad studies now while also teaching piano and flute at the same time. You're right about Networking, it's very important for us musician to have connection. But what I really meant to say is that I really like your work and I like your place your light humorous fun and at the light to learn from.
I’ve never had a teacher as much as you to make the pursuit of steady That gives me energy and a smile.
So basically my method for working out yeah used to do drills I could name a whole bunch of CZcams mentors that I listen to but since I discovered you die consider your videos as part of my daily routine.
So before I start to do drills and pull my energy forces to get good with dexterity and note reading and so forth I find listening to your videos uplift my spirit and makes my practice more powerful.

I inspired to cotinue my music carrer as keyboardist/pianist. There is a time that came in my mind that i doesnt want to continue my music carrer cause of prostration of pandemic . And find another job not in music. But every time i watch and listend to your music and vlog its make me recharge. So im so greatful that i found your channel it helps a lot of musicians to inspired. No maths required - I think we are around the same age, I finished high school in 1999 😁 after 99 I stopped playing piano seriously so lost my skills over time. Still my fave hobby on weekends.
