Michael Samuel Kiwanuka is a British singer-songwriter and record producer who is signed with Polydor Records. His 2012 debut album, Home Again, went gold in the United Kingdom and his second album, Love & Hate, debuted in 2016 at number one. He has been nominated for numerous honours, including the Brit Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, and BBC Music Awards. In January 2012, he won the BBC's Sound of 2012, and in September 2020, he won the Mercury Prize.

This video is a great example of why I love reaction videos! I’m a metalhead, but Michael Kiwanuka cuts me to the bone with his talent and emotion. This song feels a bit Clapton-esque at times, but far more soulful. Loved this.

The first time I listened to this song was September 17, 2018. It was a bad time for me. I remember sitting on a makeshift roof, having climbed it with so much difficulty, at 4 in the morning. I listened to this song on loop till the sun came out. That was the first time I ever wrote and here's the poem I wrote that day:

Great guitarist and songwriter now working with Diplo and DangerMouse - very soulful in his voice and his soul. Check out the music from his most recent album Kiwanuka - which won the Mercury Prize in the UK
More people should definitely check out his music. He is awesome. We are game for some more. I'll add to the list.

@@evangelionl0vr857 Fair point, I just thought for a first time hearing it it would of been good for them to get some of that great intro and then into the song. Introducing a song for the first time through a reaction tends to be a bit different than usual ways, so that’s why I went with the video. I don’t know if they’ve gone and listened to the album version or seen that live version since this, but I would to know their thoughts.
