I LOVE FARMINGTON HILLS! I'm truly grateful to have grown up in such a wonderful community, and Farmington Hills has only expanded to include even more to love than when I called it home. @Michael Perna - You can find out the date of the home thru City Hall, They have on record the houses owners info as well as building permits and taxes information. Also Furnaces usually have "permit stickers" on them certified that they pass city inspection codes in the home.
Unfortunately this city is the most dangerous one I have lived. I have been here a little over a year & been a victim of a felony assault at the library & had my car broken into just days ago off 12 mile at the community center & credit cards stolen. I would say this town is extremely unsafe.

I grew up in Farmington Hills 18 years, and my parents are still in Farmington Hills & have been over 30 years. Neither of us have had one issue (no assaults, break in’s, etc) I think things will get far better your second year there

Heritage part is so good, I run the paths and trails a lot. Moving to Farmington hills has been a blessing.
Catch the music in the park over the summer, it’s a great way to get outside right there in town
