I think I could listen to this on repeat all day. The arrangement HAS to be Pomplamoose because of its trademark harmonies. All those words and I understood every single one. The diction is flawless. Those voices, those beauties, those PEOPLE... such a gift. Thank you yet again for another HIT out of the park. Sigh.

This is how I do it:
1. Read alarm of new song and accumulate emotion;
2. Separate (create) time to SEE and LISTEN (Reeeeeally listen) the latest video;
3. See, with no interruption the whole clip, I sometimes feel a skip in the heart. Be conscious of breathing;
4. Listen, with no judgment whatsoever, just be "present."
5. Listen again while reading comments and wondering what happens in the heart/mind of someone who Unlike's a post (honest empathy);
That's it. Consciousness therapy, free with a song.

..did it once way back in HS '92 for Biology class, my words/yrics were related to the subject, too bad i never it wrote down.. but a reference to today's current events would definitely be somethin' -- or keep the spirit of the songs original words..dunno..but i'd definitely watch and listen to it again and again and again..

I Did not know Dodie until I discovered Pomplamoose, now a big fan. I did not know Maddie either until this release. I think the same thing will happen again. My music is expanding thanks to you. I have listened to this song about ten times now, loving it.

They rotate in a couple of other bassists (Hagar, Will) who are spectacular in their own right, but it's Nick's driving, subtle, and occasionally wildly intricate bassline that kicks this outstanding version over the top.

I'll be honest, upon hearing the first 20 or 30 seconds of this cover I thought to myself "This one might not do it for me." But the song got stronger and gained conviction as it went on. The Critical Drinker would "eviscerate you in fiction" ... if I didn't do it far more politely first... lol... there's nothing to say really. you are brave you tried to go somewhere different on a fkng TRAIN TRACK.... lol that song was more written for Cyndi to sing than most songs are written for anybody.
