- We are a non-denominational motorcycle company. If it has two wheels and can be improved in the eyes of the owner and the RSD crew, it’s a project we are willing to take on. When we were approached by our friend Jason “WeeMan” Acuna to build a bike to his scale it was something that was both exciting and new. It would be Jason’s reintroduction to motorcycles. He’d spent his younger years on small CC mini motocrossers and he was looking to get back on two wheels, on the street. Jason wanted something that was geared for the pavement and built especially for him both in function and aesthetic. Now Jason is not your average biker. He’s got a normal size torso with short legs and short arms. And starting out with a small bike seemed like the right thing to do. Enter the Honda Monkey.
For a guy like WeeMan who’s an Instagram Millionaire, he’s gone through the process of having too much to stripping back and simplifying his life to only what’s necessary. He spends a lot of time on the road in his custom sprinter van exploring the world and the Wee Monkey gives him the opportunity to set up camp and have bitchin street-legal transportation anywhere he goes. Customized, comfortable, and quick the Wee Monkey adds to a life on the road, and as any moto head knows, having that bike that fits you just right improves any riding experience.

I have a red Honda Monkey 2021 and I can't believe you converted it into the " Green Hornet " to fit that guys size and shape. That is so cool .
One of the largest small bore events is coming this year to Barber Motorsports in Birmingham Alabama hosted by MNNTHBX June 4,5 and 6th. Would to see Roland Sands and Wee Man make the trek. Small bikes are becoming really popular. would Love to see more Roland Sands builds. Awesome job on Wee Mans bike.

Part of the appeal of the Monkey for me was that I'm a big dude and it fits me comfortably. That also makes its propprtions look kinda goofy, which is certainly part of that bike's charm. Roland turned the bike into an absolutely gorgeous machine by altering those proportions to fit Jason. Now, the bike is perfectly scaled to about 3/4 size.
No the bike is more than scaled down the old Honda trail50 he sat on was a scaled down version this is custom build to the reach for every control was PERFECT... this is soo much more than a scaled down bike
@@16driver16 I think you misinterpreted my comment as minimizing RSD's amazing work done here. He turned an awkward looking bike and made the proportions work beautifully. I was commenting on how great the RSD Monkey looked due to all that custom work.
@@aaronbehindbars I get ya, for him to make it look right and also at the same time work perfectly for the man really is amazing. I wish I got to see more of wee man riding it but I understand not wanting to ride and record as I don't record myself.

This is a pretty sweet build, not doubt about it, but one thing is nagging me. The bike could get even more lean angle and ground clearance with a high mounted, scrambler style exhaust instead of the low mounted one. That is begging to be crunched dropping off a kerb or on a rock somewhere...
