My husband and I were married on the stage there in 1997. I came down the stairs! We used to stay in a different room every year for our anniversary, but things just kind of changed. Black Forest forever!!!
The Vic in Los Alamos is awesome too, especially the Gypsy room! :)

Brian we stayed in the twin to the Caveman. It had a waterfall shower in the rock bathroom!

I have been there. I have remembered a place from my childhood that was very colorful and it had a cave, now I am looking at it. This would make sense as I was raised in California and we went all over the state. It's crazy seeing what I thought may have been an imaginary place. Amazing.

I stayed there in 1984. The Irish Hills room. Everything was so green. Even had a creepy 3 foot tall leprechaun. And the bathroom was all rock. Taking a shower was like bathing under a waterfall. Thank you for a great video! Loved your tour.

You bet your sweet bippy I'd stay there if I could possibly get there. What a romantic place for wining, dining and dancing. Loved the food - especially that cake - yum! Loved the waterfall at the pool and was so glad you went up higher and closer so we could see that lovely ironwork and the gazebo with the lovely light. I imagine it's very pretty sitting in the gazebo with the waterfall illuminated at night ??? Such a whimsical & magical place. Very impressive!

I used to bring my kids there to see the llamas and horses in their front pastures. SLO has beautiful weather and great restaurants.

Hello, Jordan. Glad you posted this. The Madonna In was part of my life back in the nineteen seventies. Use to bring people there for the first time and get a kick out of watching their expressions and hearing their exclamations. Lots of fun atmosphere and good food. Glad to hear it's still good. In those days the place was jammin', had to book a room or meal ahead. No place else like it.

so cool! i remember my mom going down there with all of her girlfriends and the fun they had......actually that bathroom waterfall is one of the most well known attractions at madonna inn. i recall looking at a postcard of that as a kid and being pretty amazed too.

I spent many a childhood memory there with family, stayed in the safari room, thanks for the memories jordan.
I use to live in SLO shopped and ate there and , yes , the strawberry pie!! But, never stayed there! Darn! I have a set of goblets I’ve bought there while living in SLO and use them every Thanksgiving & Christmas. I need to go back down now for a night visit! Thanks for sharing. Good memories & loved it!

Wow!!! What an amazing place. The price didn't seem so bad for all of the beauty. There use to be a place here called..Jumers Castle Lodge. It was a replica of a German themed castle. It was amazing as well. Thank you Jordan for a wonderful vlog...much love to you and Jah 💖

Beautiful hotel. Looks like tons of fun. I know this is an older blog but I absolutely loved it. I get to see places I would never have gotten to see otherwise. Everyone should be subbed to this channel. One can always count on a wonderful experiance loaded with history and personal experiance that you relate in a very interesting and entertaining manner. Miss Winters definatly know talent when she met you. Always a constant fan.
As someone who lived in SLO county, the Madonna inn is like a fever dream
That was great Jordan! I got to see everything I missed when we stopped in 1979 to use the restroom. I was so impressed that I shot a photo of the floor. ☺
I was here back in 1964. My favorite uncle and cousin had just used that urinal and they just had to show it to us. They, my aunt, my parents, my grandmother and I all went into that bathroom to see the waterfall in the urinal. It's been 54 years since I was there and your vlog brings back wonderful memories. I'm the only one of that party still alive. I think we ate in the coffee shop and we definitely wandered around the pink bar and dining room. The place looks as if Liberace built an inn in the Norwegian troll country!
That place is a trip
Nice presentation of the Madonna Inn. There is also a spa there that I think you missed. And they also have trail rides and they provide gentle horses (this place is also a large ranch). For events, they have the "Round Room", "Gay 90's" Room, "Garden Room", "Venetian Room", and a semi private balcony in the steak house. For even bigger affairs they have their "Expo Center" (20,000 square feet).

Oh wow!! That was like nothing I have ever seen before..how fascinating . Although I have to say...that doll on the swing was a tad creepy...lol. I really wanted to see the bathroom design in your room seeing the men's public washroom was so cool! Thanks again for another unique experience!!!

I live in Central Coast. This is less than 20 minutes away from our home. This place is always busy during breakfast specially on weekends. The man's bathroom has a waterfalls inside😉. This place is nice.😉

We had lunch there on our way to see friends in San Luis Obispo. Yes, each room is different and has a specific theme. Very interesting place to visit! It's definitely PINK and the desserts are to die for!! :-)
