I’m from the us and I’m with you 100% buddy, quite frankly when I look at a knife I don’t see a weapon I see a tool, and that the mindset people need to have, knives don’t kill, people kill!!!

The tools are penalized because spineless politicians won’t do anything about the real problems which are criminals. It’s easier to ban a tool than deal with people. People problems require time and money to solve and are not an easy solution. I am sorry the UK has gone down this road. Unfortunately a lot of people in the US want to go down it as well. I hope you can keep what you have and not lose any more of your rights.

I am so sorry you’re faced with terrible laws! Are you allowed to carry pens or pencils? It seems you’re not allowed to carry much in the UK at all! I am hoping working together will help us change things in the near future!

We are allowed to can pens and pencils but believe it or not someone was charged with carrying an offensive weapon because he had a pencil and he said he was going to stabe someone with it.
I love the idea of working together to change things but I'm not sure what can be done. I swear most of the time I'm the only one who talks about these issues in the UK, I'd love to be proven wrong but most other channels or groups rarely talk about it.

I feel the same, I've carried a knife for a long time now and don't feel like changing that.
As with the covid thing I don't know why people are going along with it, government shouldn't have the power to dictate where we can go, who we can see and when. Why people are still wearing masks I will never know, I never wore one to begin with, we are a year and a half to only 2 weeks to flatten the curve yet we're still playing this silly game on which the government is continually moving the goal posts. Tho I'm more worried about what's going to happen to those of us who don't want a jab

I think everyone should get back to life but of course there now threatening us with this third wave crap, covid didn't really make any deffrence to me, I still went out walking and cycling on my own time table, as well as seeing my mate, only thing I couldn't do is go boxing. Social distancing didn't bother me much, I'm not much of a people person as I'm autistic so I kept away from people anyway but there is not a person on this planet that's going to tell me a can't hug my own mother.
Probably with giving the government this kind of power is they don't want to give it back, when was the last time government gave up its power?

@@scotsman7626 exactly and the main enemy for us is the media and just how they essentially criminalise and share scare monger people with false info and that makes people hate masks or anything that could possibly harm someone
And exactly imagine being told you can't see ur own family ect I think a lot of people cling to the GOV due to furlough schemes and that but I never got that and I was refused financial help from them so really the GOV has never helped me throughout this pandemic all they have done is scare monger people qnd make rules they didn't even bother following ( plenty of evidence for that) but ur right the GOV won't give up this power they have and tbh I can only see them getting more of it but folk don't stand up for anything anymore

I've tried to use my channel to get more people into knives and show that the media is talking utter crap, it's easy proving a point, but my channel is tiny and the bigger channels don't talk about it much.
The look down thing proves that when it comes to government it's a rule for thee but not for me, and dispite all of the lies and shite the government has come out with, people are still listening! I try not to use the term sheeple but I don't know what else to say really!

I’ve had my say on the subject to my local MP with with no luck. What annoys me is this, most knife crime in the uk is gang and drug related so the law must come down hard on these criminals and leave the likes of you and me alone, but of course that won’t happen because we are easy targets and there in lies the problem my friend. 😡

There was a 14 year old boy recently stabbed to death in England . I dont know the circumstances nor which type of knife used , but i am sure it wasnt someone whom collects knives as a hobby that was involved , and the young boy was innocent of any wrong doing or criminal behavior . I am very sorry that the young lad lost his life to some thug wielding a knife , and my sincere condolences go to the boys family . But it's this kind of horrible act and many others that add fuel to the fire in banning knives , and gets members of parliament up in arms regarding knives . I hope this helps answer your question .

@@jamesbell7958 Yes it does. I was a police officer for 36 years, 26 of those was in criminal investigations. Of the murders I saw most were committed with kitchen style knives. One involved an outlawed style knife. I think the real issue is mental health and how children are raised. Outlawing knives and guns isn't a cure in my opinion because criminal types don't care about abiding the law. They will get them anyway and the net result is they are just disarming the law abiding citizens. Good luck.

To the best of my knowledge some parts of the UK have a lot of stabbings, especially the likes of London, Birmingham etc but nothing they do makes any sense, it doesn't help that its illegal to carry anything for self defence, and these knife bans certainly don't do anything to stop the violence.
