Bruh I’m Mexican these fits are pretty much my Saturday mornings with my dad
Lol that's true
So relatable. Don’t forget the holiday breaks 😂
lol
Great! gay hipster posers are going to drive up the price of work gear..
@@flynick lol they already are, look at all the Filson wear.
I want to look like a science fiction construction worker.
Maybe try out guerrilla group
Hamcus is all about that this season.
"If you look like a construction worker you're in vogue. You're in vogue now."
I did it.
I did fashion.
Congratulations!

I didn't choose fashion. Fashion chose me
I've been trying to dress more stylishly. Turns out I've been trying too hard.
that's a phase. just stay on the track. you'll find the way to express your real self through those chlothes.
When I was in japan I saw a ton of stores with "work wear" being advertised.
Yeah no shit they are known for it
Thrifting is on of the major reasons I want to visit Japan for, they got 70% of the US's vintage denim and I want in!
"You'll be ready to look like your doing something when really your doing absolutely nothing." FACTS!!! LOL
I love how traditionally rugged and masculine this style is, while still providing a canvas for some complex layering and fashion forwars styling
this, exactly!!!!!!!!
bruh u prolly never worked a day in ur life
@@abidabdi3899 I actually work in construction to support my schooling. Nice try though.
Naum Pasca my bad
none of those guys look particularly masculine. throw on some timbs with loose fitting jeans and a white beater and you'll look 100x more masculine with zero effort.
Y’all should peep Carl Murawski’s channel for more workwear type tings. Mans actually works construction but also highlights stylistic aspects of workwear, americana, heritage, etc.
He’s on the pencil pusher side of construction but he still does okay.
@@yeenosaur2620 he’s done everything what are you talking about
maybe the wrong place for this but I need to get it off my chest.
Why cows gotta live on their food?
Footwear: Viberg, Role Club, Red Wing, Yuketen, Brass Tokyo, Hender Scheme, Role Club, Himel, Clinch Japan
Accessories: Goodart Hollywood
Brands: Ironheart, Freewheelers, Warehouse, Buzz Rickson, Yuketen, The Real Mccoy, Conners Sewing Factory, TCB Jeans
Justin Arabit the denim equivalent of supreme-heads. Too pricey. There are a lot of cheaper options that are still quality.
Loving the direction this channel is progressing towards, keep up these awesome videos!
I feel like the new wave is vintage work wear, with vintage distressed Carhartt jackets being real popular as of late.
Not sure how I feel about the over sized pants those never look good on me or atleast I dont think but the work wear jackets are defiantly something i've been wanting to look into
Thanks imma look into that, kinda wanna try some on lol so I guess I’l have to wait until stores open.
Just try wearing it for a day. I felt the same before I actually tried wearing one at work.
After that, skinny/fitted jeans felt corny to me. (Tho I still wear them lol)
Workwear = Carhartt, Dickies, Ben Davis. That’s all you need to know tbh
needles, Stan Ray, Levi's, red wing, visvim and engineered garments etc. exist too
bookbag man I’m just tryna lay out the very basics here lmao, but everything you say is good. Especially Visvim, just wish I won the lottery so I could get some for myself.
And Timberlands. Easy.
Bc of this pandemic, i feel like scrubs are gonna make their way into fashion.
@@imMATTure hazmat suits
I love work wear! I like mixing it with street essential pieces and focusing on quality garments.
Big workwear fan since like 2013 i like combining vintage, military, and Carhartt. I do think you can get away with tapered denim as the electrician look. I do like using sneakers that are earth tones as I think they go great with the look. As you say, make it your own!
I like workwear but I don’t think the full workwear look is really me but I like incorporating certain items into my style
Same mix and mash let your creativity go wild
Never ceases to amaze me how eventually everything becomes trendy.
Perfect time to refresh CZcams LOL.. The Casual is a quarantine cure.
More content to come!!👍
Great video. Loving all the little improvements. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.
Loving the content keep it up!
I've been watching the videos for a while now and still really enjoying the content, keep it up.
I was doing work wear this last winter. Love the look and the feel of wider leg pants. I even have a couple of cover all's which are nice but when you go to the toilet it can be tough. 😊
This video reminds me of my dad working in the garden, wearing his old ("vintage"), old ("vintage") pme work jeans and some boots, looking better then i while not even trying
Great vid I’ve been inspired by my own work wear. I’m a ramp agent and we wear a lot of hi-vis clothing as well as overall so I like to add pieces here and there to my rotation.
I live in a very...rural town and I've lowkey been using workwear for years to blend into the local thirft. Whole lotta cowboys asking me where I got my aztec print carhartt lmao like calm down tex
been looking for this
Funny, I wear this because I actually work. In the name of my bills 👀
Great vid, man! Been waiting for this!! A vid about Americana or Military mix could be a great idea too!
Inadvertently I've added some work wear pieces to my closet, without having the complete look. Can I add these to supplement another look or style? For example. I have a similar shirt to the one you're wearing in this vid, but I'd wear it with black skinny and brown or navy, suede lace up boots. Not good/good?
It's been said before, but you really do a phenomenal job with this channel man. Now excuse me while I superficially buy a ton of workwear pieces even though I'm not fully committing to the aesthetic 👍
Found out your channel recently, been binge watching 😂
which part of my body do you recommend me selling?
What track did you guys play on this production? Wonderful work
Really like this vid. Would also like to see a video on gorp/hikercore and Americana in Japan, as they seem to be pretty popular there. Keep up the great work!
This is what I needed Reggie😭
Love that necklace. Also another solid video! Can you do a video of your top favorite brands? Maybe top 5 or even top 8.
Like the format a lot.
I was wondering when this was coming up 😄
Beenn going through some brands outside of Japan on workware and found Lakh Supply and Workware HK. Definitely worth taking a look at.
I got into workwear young, not because of the style of it oddly but I just really liked the hard fabrics for some reason. My mom bought me this workwear chino chino an i was in love ever since. I never wear boots though, NB works amazing with workwear chino (slight taper and a little short or folded)
Nice video, what is coat on the miniature?
Workwear is what I expected to grow into, had I still lived in Maine.
Now I'm in Houston going to college and wearing 3 year old track pants.
Love that combo on 4:46, where are those trousers and boots from?
I wear Schott T/C work pants. They’re made in Japan Dickies 874-inspired. Same poly-cotton blend but the cut and quality is next level. Mine are near 3 years old and look new still. Never had 874s last thIs long.
Hey where’d u get ur flannel
I wish you took a moment to mention Junya's work lately which is focused around workwear and his vision around it. Perhaps even expanded the definition to not be limited to workwear surrounding American uniforms, and talked about something like Craig Green who designed many workwear pieces, or Rassvet which feature Russian workwear for example.
I’ve been a workwear fan for a while. I like the idea of buying high quality pieces that get better with age, which is great, since I tend to wear whatever I like to death. Haha. While I like the old tried and true workwear brands, I’m more into the newer brands that pay homage to classic workwear. I’m a huge fan of Freeman, a brand and shop based here, in Seattle. Freeman, and another place called Blue Owl Workshop, are my go to shops in town, apart from thrifting and flea markets.
One of my favorite styles rn
What jacket is he talking about? I couldnt understand it
that moment simplicity leads to new waves
Redback steelcap boots 👌
Useful for automotive class and nice for casual meet up with my mates
Reggie where did you get your hat? Love it!
Been rockin the Carhartt and Dickies nothing new over here...
recommendations on where to get workwear chinos?
ありがとう~
sheeeeeesh, great video
Funny how waves go full circle. I got into fashion back in 2013 when "Americana/workwear" was the rage lol
Work wear seems like a simple enough type of style to try but I think it might be a bit harder to pull off then expected
Whats the Jacket in the Thumbnail??
I think it helps to look at what is actually worn by workers. That said, I've never seen workers with button shirts but I've seen a lot wearing grey and black hoodies with beige or highVis dungarees. (Funny enough i haven't seen people pull this one for fashion yet) i think I'd even go a bit into the street style with it by wearih a simple but THICC Supreme or 90-00' Champion hoodie / sweater with some Retro or Premium Jordans.
Hah! I just bought a beige Carharrt jacket that I have seen in a "dress like Travis Scott video". Wearing it with woodland camo and either a brown tee or metal band shirt and brown boots.
i just bought some double knee carpenter yesterday
What is the jacket in the thumbnail?
Reggie thanks so much for doing this. I have great appreciating for your almost slogan of fashion is what you want to to wear for self expression, and it was awkward for me to ask "how do I dress this certain way" as it's almost opposite of what you're trying to teach. These kind of videos still engrain the your slogan but with a template people can go off of what makes, in this scenario, workwear. I like the brands chosen and I hope people here are able to still use their own creativity and to intentionally make their own workwear outfits. Please do more of these.
For the next video I would love for you to discuss high end fashion. I'm not too well versed but I want to understand the guidelines of luxury goods such as LV for example and how to use what they try to do to dress. Surely these Chinese students with batman credit cards, wearing the same hype is not what it's about.
Hey Reggie and The Casual family. I’ve recently begun doing some research into the whole Hiking subculture of street style. I’m aware that this has been a wave that resurfaced in Japan back in 2018, but I see the trend has gained even more traction internationally since 2019. Maybe a future video can dive more into this? I’ve started gathering some labels that I think would help any future (Hypebeast) outdoorsman: Patagonia, Columbia, Nike ACG/Hike, Carhartt WIP, to name a few. If anyone wants to share, feel free. I’m friendly.
my workwear fit: Monitaly chore coat, EG chambray shirt, Orslow fatigues, Yuketens/NB's.
Love the random pic of Bruce Springsteen😂
Maaaaaan I’m just trying to find some warm durable clothes for work lol
Fucking hilarious ! I never realized I am so naturally bad assed stylish .
could u explain the 90s harajuku scene where beauty beast, general research, and 20471120 were popping off
The military ft. workwear style is freaking huge in Asia tho.
Its practical and easy to style.
But the downside is that every outfit looks like the same lol
The Boston denim on denim working style
Dickies, Levi's, Carharrt, Ben Davis, Lee . Pretty much standard wear here in Los Angeles.
The problem with the western fashion they want to assume to look like nobody but they are afraid to experience distinctiveness and ends up looking like everybody.
Junya Watanabe Man is fashion workwear, I think. His collab with New Balance has been one of my fave.
actual workers after this vid: confused
haha
Hey, I work in the trades, wear this stuff every day, but sport nicer workwear on the weekends, so I'm not bothered if people appreciate the style of it.
I love when stuff people do regularly gets a name and becomes a trend. I’ve been wearing Carhartt for years cause they have clothes made in the USA ( which I love ) and I’m from Detroit, now my regular style is “ work wear “ but okay 😂
Simba it’s an amazing brand both for style and practicality. All their clothes are super tough but I will say a lot of it is also heavy, including their T-shirt’s ( but they have my favorite T’s, they’re mostly all I wear )so if you live somewhere hot it might be too much
Simba uhhhhh so I know from comments they for very big but I can’t speak from personal experience because I’m 5’5 like 130 lbs and I get everything in xl-3xl. I guess I can say the pants are pretty loose even then I go true to size.
Junya? it's a tongue in cheek avant garde take on Americana Work Wear!
Hey Reggie can we get a video on how to style flared pants?
Red wings are the Boots you should wear.
Workwear and skate go super hand in hand
When a clothing company known for good work wear knows they are selling more for modern style they begin to cut corners on quality and the people who actually use them to work in notice it
If you want an amazing hand crafted pair of workboots. Go with either Nick's handmade boots of White's boots.
dying to hit Tokyo again for clothes
2:25 hey, you are in vogue .. you are in vogue now :D :D :D
No idea that kapital is cheaper in Japan like how much cheaper is it?
Also tho, my uncle whose super old shops and at Goodwill and doesn’t care about fashion at all, looks like a work wear icon all the time on accident. He deadass don’t care but even his color combinations be immaculate. He wears stuff you’d image a retired plumber would aka work wear
Whats up with coveralls aka boilersuits !??!!
Damn, I must be looking fresh as hell at work
Flannel shirts! And heritage boots:danner, red wing boots...
I work in a factory and my clothes and boots get hard use. The most sturdy/practical clothing and shoes are not very fashionable but I don't care because my clothes are there to work for me
workwear: anything you wear when you work, period
If you really want to stand apart you need to try Hickory striped overalls or Fisher striped cover balls
Great guide! BUT you must mention Red Wing boots in this list as well. They're essential in the workwear style.
boots are the most important thing when it comes to logging.
didnt expect work wear to be fashionable
Shout out to the workers right now.
No mention of Ben E. Davis? I was at a vintage shop in Japantown San Francisco and they had all exclusively Japanese line for Ben E. Davis! And I didn’t even know Ben E. Davis was based in San Francisco, so they definitely had the hookup!
I’ve been sporting work/military wear for the better part of a decade. It is easily the most practical style to adapt. It’s unpretentious and functional. You can’t ask for much more than that. Now, I have to figure out how to continue looking like myself without being viewed as a trend hopper. First world problems lol
He told its to get rid of our Skinny and slims if we want to transition over into the “workwear” look.. but what’s this? @4:46...
