Hello Sir, I have just ordered my first Nukeproof Scout 290 2022 frame in size XL. I am something around 6’1” (185 cm) tall. I have a question if I go for a right frame size? I don’t have experience with Scout sizing. I will ride a 35mm stem and I am not sure if I go right with sizing, if the reach will be enough. Thank you for answer and for nice community you built on Facebook. Have a nice Saturday!
I would say it’s marginal and also depends on the type of riding you do. At Bike park wales the XL felt great and more stable at speed down the rough stuff. For normal trail riding the L is great. But there really isn’t much in it.
Hi, Awesome looking bike. How does it feel compared to the v2 scout? With lower bottom bracket and changes to the head angle. I have the 2021 comp scout and thinking about doing a frame swap. Thanks
Thank you. I changed all my items from my previous scout. The only thing to keep in mind is the steer tube on fork. You need about 15mm extra give or take. So if you run 15 mm spaces under current stem you will be fine. 👍

Richard Eniffer Thanks for the reply, mate. From what I've seen online its pretty difficult to actually find a decent hardtail in stock at the moment. Seen a few i like, but near enough all of them are unavailable/sold out. The Nukeproof seems to be one of the few that is actually available and in stock. Im a bit dubious about the BB height on it, but to be fair its not that different from the other bike i was considering. The BB height on this bike is 308mm, and on the other bike i liked its 310mm.
