- Journalist Tony sits down with a incarcerated inmate who is here to share a story of how ugly it can get when be associated in criminal activity , this person speaking is serving a 25 year sentence , he speaks words of wisdom , as he is attempting to encourage people not to follow in the same footsteps , Tony is the man behind the mask who orchestrated this over the phone interview as well as the video footage used
I remember back in the mid 90s he is right we had nothing in the hole(ad seg) we had 35 dollars a month for store we were starving . And yeah it’s true in the bay at mail call it was a trip you act like you ain’t tripping on the mail man but if he stopped you got excited if he stopped and then kept going it made you mad. I had a cellie in bay for 2 years while on c side and we shared letters made sure we were ok mentally when I went to D side even though I didn’t need it he had his mom n wife send me 40.00 every birthday and I did the same we actually wrote each other I think of that homie often as I no longer can talk to him cause I left that world and he will always be in my prayers as so many others will

Only SHUs are Pelican Bay . Corcoran. Tehachapi SHU. Period
Soledad has no SHU. They do have O-Wing, and X-Wing for overflow. O -Wing has got a lot of history there.

It's also where a guard shot and killed 3 black men at one time that were friend's of Geoerge Jackson. You can read all about it in the book, "Soledad Brothers ".

Why do these guys do the AB's bidding if they know they are being used? I have listened to loads of these stories, seems to me like the AB just use PEN1 guys to do their dirty work for them. @@Silence-and-Violence I get it,in the max in Massachusetts there is a block like that,and same situation, dude’s try to get down there who got shit with them instead of taking the walk of shame to pc, I got nothing but respect for you guys who done time in cdc active yards max security, Massachusetts had Walpole a very old prison like the q and from the 70s to 90s it had the highest murder rate per capita in the country, but they turned that into classification and sent all those guys to Shirley max were I did my time and it was the jungle, at least a good stabbing a week on every block,staff assault’s were a common thing as well, I saw a c.o get stabbed right thru his throat a career ender ,and the kid who did it got the right one, the guy was always looking for a paid vacation, but I went back for a violation and it’s really quieted down over the last few years, they broke the cons, there were like 5 really good staff assaults over a summer and administration had enough,they violated so many guys civil rights and they didn’t give a fuck about the lawsuits that would be filed, they fucked dudes up for like 3 months,left them locked in with nothing but boxers and scrubs and a green mattress,zero property, no sheets,nothing,smashed every tv, they just broke them mentally until they new they won, thank goodness I just missed it, guys we’re all skinny and shit when I came back cuz they were not letting them go to store and the pigs were cooking all the food cuz nobody was going to work, it was a bad time to be a con in the max
