Geoff is one of the founding members of VoicePlay, so he's not a featured artist. But it's one of the few songs where he is on lead for the majority of the song, which tends to happen when they're doing "villain" songs.
This song showcases their character voice singing skills very well, but they do an extremely varied amount of music, anything from disney to pop to rock to epic gaming music to country to soul and everything in between.
I just went off of the request first time listening to them but thank you for the recommendations 🎶❤️
Geoff Castellucci's B4 chest at the end and slowly descending to an E1 subharmonic is crazy
i can barely hit a E1 I normally go to D/D# or F#/G for some reason when i try
she aint even aware of that low note he hit at the end lol... that this guy hits insane bass notes
Yeah she needs better headphones lol.
I was a little surprised that you didn't register his high and low notes in this. Not many people have the five ocrabe range that Geoff can produce.
CZcams has been sending me every recent Man of Constant Sorrow. After enjoying your reaction I was so excited to see you had a video from Voiceplay. They are my favorite of the top three acapella groups. Pentatonix are the "cool kids" and home free are the "ag kids" and Voiceplay are the "theater kids." They are all great but Voiceplay are my favorite for their combination of theatrics, unique arrangements, and comedy. You should also check out their bass singer, Geoff Castelluci's solo channel. He arranges about 50% of Voiceplay's songs and does all his own arranging, videography, editing, initial mix, costuming etc. with his wife Kathy. On his solo work he does all the harmony parts but does use light instrumentation so they are not acapella. He released a version of Man of Constant Sorrow that is great and very different from the Home Free version. I highly recommend it. You can't go wrong with anything on his channel or Voiceplay's. If you want to see something more serious and less theatrical from Voiceplay you should check their covers of Nothing Else Matters or Carry On My Wayward Son. Layne Stein, their beatboxer arranges most of the rest of their songs. They are completely independent and are supported by the power of their patreon community. Can't wait to see more from both. I subscribed in anticipation of more VP & Geoff.

VoicePlay #TheatreKidsOfACapella is my #1 favorite group. Also love Geoff Castelluccis' channel where he does his own LOW Bass covers. Will be here for both.
Loved your reaction: for humor, try 'What Do We Do with a Drunken Sailor" or "We Don't Talk About Bruno." There are tons of others that are funny, but these are personal favorites.

ah the 2nd group of the amazing trio. We have started with Home Free, now starting with Voiceplay, soooo many awesome songs. Your 3rd group of course get good requests for Pentatonix songs.
Just so you know, Geoff is part of the group so it’s not really featuring him, unless you meant it as him being the lead singer in this one.
