On my playthrough I never saw the guy hanging off the edge, I assumed it was a ghost after reading a ghost story nearby lmao
This treasure hunt glitched I shot off the lock but door still closed

Also u can use the grapple again once u collect the key rather than jumping in the water
Doors won't open after I shot the locks off them, this game is becoming very annoying at this point with the bugs I keep coming across

I love the part where they make simple tasks incredibly more complex and difficult to make up for the lack of content this game has.
I have done quite a lot of these treasure hunts and like 3 of them are simple, I hate these so much but I need the rewards if I want to 100%
Yeah this game just is blah... trying too hard to be politically correct and it has lost the main point of being a situation of being a "Far Cry" from help so you do what you have to survive. Our main protag... doesn't care... I think it would have been far more interesting if we were just a mercenary or turns out we are a spy at least that would have given us a reason to stay... >_> personally I think the secret ending is the best ending.

The lock didn't open after I shot it but I got the key anyhow by carefully swinging and descending until I got past the dead guy and then quickly ascending.

just how am i suppose to get key when he's dangling on the edge? like the waterfall catch me way too quick for me to press square to collect it.
You have to shoot through the door and break the locks then read a note in that building so the damn door shut and then repeal down next to the man and grab the key.
You have to shut off the dam first

Lol I didn't even go into the control room because the doors were still closed despite shooting the locks. So I just grabbed the card as I got swept away by the running water. Cool thing is the dam is still flowing water in my game after completing the treasure hunt.
Oh wow, can't believe that i was supposed to guess i had to shoot a lock from the other side....fuckin hell.

The door just doesn't open for me when I shoot the lock. Only time so far I've been genuinely angry with this game. If I send 120 on something it should work
For anyone else experiencing the same thing. Run a considerable distance away and then come back. Both doors for me were wide open

I just jumped down and took the card off his dead body. Didn't even know i was supposed to do this puzzle.
i somehow managed to get the key without turning the dam system off so i came here to see why i couldnt turn it off after getting the key and i guess its just locked after getting the key?
Severley bugged mission. Doors won't open and the keycard does not appear on the worker that dies. Ubisoft need to fix this mess of a game. This is the only time so far that I've been so angry with the game that I've turned it off.

You just have to walk out of render distance and walk back then they should be wide open

Most people play as the male. Only CZcamsrs play as the female. I'm guessing it's because they don't want to get cancelled by the woke crowd.
@@RaiderLoyalty2315 I chose to play as the female character only because she looks better. The guy just looked like a drunk dad who's trying to become sober but is failing. Hard.

tfw i just used the grapple to go down to his body and grab the card without shutting the dam. whoops
I tried that and my ass kept getting swept away by it, couldn't get close enough to grab it without getting pulled down.
@@Flob2 i did also but then one time I tried to stay on the grapple and just ended up on a 'safe' patch that's just slightly past the body, where the dam starts to slope. This bugged out the dam sequence as i can't close it so i guess it will just always be flowing for me lol
Same here heh. I thought that was the right way. Watching the vid to see how to close the dam right. Guess I bugged it now. No biggy. Got the shotgun anyways.
