Thank you for this video, great effort and excellent quality photography
Glad you enjoyed it!
OMG! I’m on the Silver Nova in 5 weeks. Sailing for 23 days….. going to gain so much weight!
You’re going to have such an amazing time. I’m so happy I was able to book you and save you so much money. :-) Enjoy your time and have fun with all that onboard credit. $2500 is nothing to sneeze at and I would use it all in the spa!
going on silversea Silver Spirit Feb 2026 Caribbean. 1st time ever on Silversea and can not wait!
That’s awesome and I’m glad we were able to add the extra OBC and the 5% off for you! :)
Stunning ship - I’d love to get on here one day!
You should!
i like your voice and that you speak slow and clear
Wow thanks for the lovely comment - I really appreciate it
Excellent and very comprehensive video Dr Gari.
I have looked at the deck plans and note classic cabin 6088 seems a great choice.
Did you look inside this cabin and as to why it seems excellent value for moneg being at the aft of the ship? Thanks. Chris
Glad it was helpful! I completely disagree about 6088. It has a connecting door and is almost fully obstructed. Not a good cabin BUT when you do book, email me and we can help pick a much better cabin. 6088 is usually the LAST to sell on the Nova sailings for these reasons.
@@DrGariSthank you for your honesty but i have looked at many photos of the rear of the ship but i cannot see any obstructed view.
Where is the obstruction please?
I understand about connecting doors but there are many cabins that have this facility. Thanks. Chris
@@chrisdavey9968 that’s why you have me as your agent! I notice things some don’t. La Terrazza sticks out IMMEDIATELY below by a lot. It doesn’t just obstruct but it intrudes on privacy
@@DrGariS
Thank you again for your advice. I will contact you via e mail once we decide. Chris
@@chrisdavey9968no worries. I usually have a group on each date so in addition to getting me, you would have an onboard credit or the rate will be less expensive. ;)
Great video, thank you. Have you had any clients that MUST eat gluten free due to celiac disease cruise with Silversea?
Absolutely! My wife happens to be gluten-free and she goes on Silversea with me and has no problem! Please email me and I’ll be happy to help you 😊
Great tour and well narrated.
Thank you so much 😊
GREAT VIDEO!!!! We are booked on the Nova in May to Alaska. We do have an aft-facing suite. You indicated some of them may have a somewhat obstructed view. Can you tell me which ones to avoid.
Have fun! - any of them as La Terrazza sticks out. If you’re on decks 8 or 9 it’s a lot let noticeable but as you can see, there’s no privacy as anyone on those lower deck can look up right to your balcony. If you’re in a PV you can easily move those to the ones that overlook the side. The larger suites are kind of stuck there but they are amazing rooms. You’re welcomed to email me next time as I do get lower than published rates on Silversea AND other ships. Hope this helps.
we are on deck 9 in a PV.
@@user-xo5ty4kr4c those are always available. One has a connecting door and the other one is quieter, but usually you can get out of them and go to the side. The aft PVs are always the last ones to sell but even if you stay back there at least you’re on deck 9. Above you from La Terrazza also has an aft platform where people can look right in to your balcony. It’s a terrible design but if you look at ANY sailing that has availability on a PV, you’ll see those are ALWAYS the last ones to sell because of this issue.
we are in 9093 which is the non-adjoining room.@@DrGariS
Perhaps a silly question, but is the pool heated? For that matter, for the Alaska/colder climate cruises, are there heating elements in the seating areas?
Hello. Not a silly question. You should email me when you want to book as I get private rates by the way - Gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com
The pool IS heated on Nova. ;)
What does the pv stand for when it comes yo the rooms
Premium verandahs which should be a lower category since most are in terrible locations. I’m happy to help get a better location and for less on top of the extra savings and onboard credit we get as a top account
I just hate the open Atrium theme. This central core becomes noise central. What about the chair hogs?
I didn’t find it to be noisy at all. Some people are less than courteous about chairs though.
Interesting. I love open Atriums. That's what's great, everyone has their own opinions.
Wowee. 😊
It’s a great vessel and great to be on! 😊
We just booked a last minute and didnt have many choices.... will we be ok in this room?
Cabin Type: Suite :Superior Veranda/ Cabin#9025
Email me at Gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com and I can not only help with that but also get you usually 5% off any rate they offer and/or onboard credit. Happy to help.
Nice video. Ship is nice, my complaints are, the furniture is old 1960s they 1970s look meaning they look shabby and filthy so they really should update it. I dont like hearing sleazy lounge music in open areas, so I need to stay out of those, needs lounge areas with no music. Since I don't drink and hate food, the fancy small serving specialty restaurants are wasted on me, I like plain foods, give a burger or pizza, plain fruits. The pool is gorgeous, please no music outside or keep it very low so it doesnt empead on others enjoying the outside, I want to hear the ocean. Outside walk areas are great and thank you for deck 11 away from the noises and would make a great star gazing deck. Cigar lounge and gym is great. Perfer large balcony. Perfer showers over bathtubs and yes I know how to iron.
Thank you for that feedback. Hopefully SilverSea will see it and that makes some sense. You might want to upgrade your experience to something like Ponant or Scenic.
I hope they keep the glass clean in the infinity pool. We had a scum ring for 2 weeks on the Celebrity Ascent. Also don’t like the jogging/walking track. Why they didn’t consider people who just want to enjoy the deck without having joggers/walkers rushing by you all the time. It was like that on the Ascent and it’s very annoying
This is NOTHING like the Ascent. I love Celebrity but there’s a HUUUUUUUGE difference between a mass market ship (even in Retreat) and any of the Silversea ships. It doesn’t sound like you’ve been on Silversea. You can’t compare a huge mass market ship with Silversea - no way. Not crowded EVER and much cleaner in all aspects. It’s a completely different class (4 star vs 5 star).
