- Hey guys, today I decided to film a day in my life working on an Australian dairy farm in rural victoria.
Working on a dairy farm is a great way to learn about different working environments in Australia and it's also a good way to complete your 88-days of regional farm work in Australia to apply for your 2nd year working holiday visa.
My boyfriend and I have had a great time learning how to work with the animals and how to operate farm machinery in Australia. I really recommend working on a farm for all Australian backpackers, whether it be working on an outback cattle station (which we already did and have a video about coming soon!), working on a dairy or sheep farm, a horse farm or even picking fruit etc.

Hey, I was paid hourly at minimum wage (I think $24.67) and we took home the entire paycheck (no accommodation deductions from pay). I earned on average $750+ per week after tax. 38 hours per week.

They could be either. I would say the majority of backpackers are on a Working Holiday Visa
