  • Uppaluri Gopala Krishnamurti was an Indian who questioned the state of spiritual enlightenment. Having pursued a religious path in his youth and eventually rejecting it, U.G. claimed to have experienced a devastating biological transformation on his 49th birthday, an event he refers to as "the calamity"
In this video, I'll show you UG KRISHNAMURTI. It's essential for every UG KRISHNAMURTI AUDIENCE to understand how to free from everything we know. From [sub topic] to [sub topic] you'll learn here how to No Mind and Thus No Normal State of Mind

His subconcious mind resented the fact he was taught this truth by somebody else. He learned it from Jiddu Krishnamurti and Jiddu learned it from one of the Buddhistic teachings and Ramana and Ramana learned it from Adi Shankaracharya and Adi Shankara got it from the Buddha and ancient Vedic traditions.
UG wasn't conciously aware that he had subliminally picked it up from Jiddu, but because it had such a deeply profound affect on him while his ego hadn't yet matured it caused an internal resentment. The same bitter anger we see in Jiddu. Jiddu discovered it in the university library and kept it to himself. He kept that truth hidden underneath that ridiculous claim that there is no "how" ... I love both of these men as well as the others i mentioned but UG was not original and far from brutally honest. He was an angry little prick who used provarication and shotgunning to keep his audience from getting it.
Doesn't really matter i suppose. Because the teaching itself is alive and i guess it uses people, lucky people, to expose it and try to teach mankind this ultimate and final reality. Now we have to wait for the next teacher, and that teacher will take this truth and teach it wisely without any ego. They will teach it in a simple way using phrases which are easy to rehearse.

This is how to pass this teaching on.
Tell those interested that there are two states of being.
There is a state of being where we are carried along using thought, and there is a state of being where we are not using thought.
Let them ask questions and show them how we arrive at the answer using thought and knowledge, the known.
Tell them this way of thinking is a trap and we can break free from it by entering the thoughless state of being.
Personally i like thinking and being. And sometimes i feel i am missing out on a wondeful teaching if i consider entering the state of being.
To BE or not to BE - that is the question.

There is something called an experience, this brings knowing without any prior content/programming. UG must have never had one

I feel bad arguing with UG because he was the one who taught me this truth. It's just amazing, the euphoric freedom that comes when realising that there is a state of existence which isn't brought on by knowledge, But to say this beautiful reality is not an experience. I know what he means ... i know what you mean UG. Jiddu also teaches this truth and i think UG got it from Jiddu, but i think it happened subliminally. Like with Sri Ramana Maharshi it hit them like a ton of bricks and they were lucky enough to let it consume them. It happened to me once, i was totally consumed and living the reality of this truth for 2 or 3 years, then for some reason i changed. Turns out i enjoy thinking. Infact i really love thinking. I guess i needed those 2 or 3 years living in that reality of peace. I think Jiddu and UG were egocentric in the way they really didn't want anybody to simply get it. I think they loved debating and teaching and were afraid if people understood it completely they couldn't be teacher anymore. We need a new teacher now. Somebody who can take these beautiful truths and teach them in a way which is simple and unforgetable.

Once one ventures into Vedanta, I don't see any need of people like UG or JK. It's all there , sure one has to put in the effort to realise it and not just intellectually understand it but one doesn't necessarily need a Guru for that, because the Guru can only repeat the same he/she can't make you realise it.
As to thinking , as long as there is ego or the sense of separation from the whole, there will be thoughts, the constant flitting between the past and future

Unlearning is the most difficult thing ,some thing like eye trying to see it self without any external aide!
Mind interprets with past experience and makes projections which culminate in to all emotional disasters and conflicts.
Liberation from conflict of thought is preempted by thought itself!
So attempt to not to interpret what we see ,listen to may succeed only if we attain the so called state of Calamity which he struck with accidentally

    • @wingit7335
      @wingit7335 Před 2 měsíci

We don't need to unlearn. Understanding the truth of what UG is passing on brings on acceptance. We can now accept that there are two states of being. One where we are carried along by thought and the known, and the other state of being where we are not using thought but just being. Thinking and being. Unlearning belongs to the state of thinking. But when we are in the state of being there is nothing to unlearn.

      @@wingit7335 Yes sir
Interesting to see your mature interpretation
Yet I feel unlearning means making slate clean and looking at reflections as mirror does
That is just remaining in the crowd and in state which flutters not with what is heard and seen
Absolutely no interpretation BTW I am wondering as to why I am sending across this interpretation ,but it’s okay you can see it the way you prefer!

Jiddu used this teaching to bring on a meditative affect, which was genius. Unfortunately there's no way to teach people how to get it because the true state of meditation is the state of being and cannot show the how. As egocentric as UG and K were i think UG has been the best teacher of this truth so far. Listening carefully to UG gives you a chance to really understand what this is all about and make that truth permanent. With K you forget everything he's said within an hour.
