I was looking for efficiency and style, and this car delivers both in spades. Plus, the sound system is just incredible
17000km done. Awsome vehicle most least electricity charge in ev segment and I usually getting mileage around 230 -240 on my 120kms daily ride with the base model with eco mode and regeneration. Enough power is there and no lags.
How is it for highway driving ?
How is the suspension?
@@ggkrishna7404 suspension is ok.mostly EV cars suspension a bit rigid for better performance and mileage.
For Comet tyre is just 12 inch . So small path holes feels rigid.
Always maintain tyre pressure 40 psi for all tyres.

Hows the ac working. My black colour Comet gets so heated and the AC is so bad i have to keep the windows open always.

Practical size for EV as a family car is Kiger/Brezza with sufficient bootspace. Tyre size and other issues won't be a problem then. 120 max should be speed linit in them. If MG brought such a car then with all the practicality of Comet EV then it might get success. Claimed range of 350 plus will be enough for most people
This is the car i need. Price needs to be around 5-7 lakh. Will sell like hot cake.

Tiago or mg ? Suggestion
It totally depends on your taste.
The Comet is properly modern and quirky, surely grabs attention.
The Tiago is a more conventional product.
Both would deliver similar range.
So it is totally up to the user preference.
The Comet is feels more tech loaded.
While the Tiago, we know that it has a proven safety track record.
This is originally from Wuling, called Wuling Air EV, now there is a higher level Wuling Binguo
Very informative.
There is a car called the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV which is priced at Rs 3.32 lakh equivalent in China. At that price, it may be a sensible solution. Not this overpriced, under-doored slow charger.
One big con is air cooled battery, wish they gave liquid cooled batteries like others. :/

I like your reviews and I am sure everyone does. However, the car maker MG needs to take this model off the market and bring it back with 4 doors at a lower price. As it stands,nit is overpriced, meant for 2 people and their tiny kids who will remain tiny and for people who can park their car in their home garage for overnight charging. The whole concept of eVs in India is badly misplaced and amounts to apeing the west without the infrastructure to do so. India is or was home to the best and most sensible small cars in the world untill the stupids came with bank loans and started buying unnecessary SUVs to further crowd the already congested streets of our cities. This EV has too many impracticalities and charging issues. The country has no battery infrastructure and less robust bms systems as demonstrated by the HV Critical Error issue in the leading EV manufacturer. We are excellent at making small efficient petrol cars and that's where we should focus.

It can do over 150 km on one full charge easily, with AC on at all times, with 2-3 on board. And still have some battery left.

All said and done but it's very expensive. There are many better EV options.

Comet EV lacks the power needed for modern roads
For daily city commutes, you must try it once. It keeps up, and more, for usual runs.
Its actually feels more powerful than Tiago. Its very peppy.
You are completely wrong. If you don’t know about the car then don’t say anything, it’s a good car with enough power to accelerate
