- Welcome to a day in my life at college! Somehow week 3 felt like an entire month but here we are already going into week 4 and midterms are coming up (insanity!!). But at least there's been some great snow days on campus and in a few days we're forecasted to get more snow ❄️ have a great week everyone!

I’m Makayla! I’m nineteen years old, a second year at the University of Chicago, and a Creative Writing and (prospective) Geographical Sciences double major.
Some of my favorite pastimes are reading, cooking, writing, violin, ping pong, and studying. I have an older brother, step-siblings, three dogs, and I grew up in Maine.
I’m a 5w4 INTJ and in love with Star Wars, Marvel, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, and Sherlock, so I can always talk about these all day long!!

One of my greatest regrets is not taking an astronomy class at uchicago... I was barely managing to survive so I don't blame myself but I definitely could have gotten more out of undergrad by taking some "fun" classes

I think the astronomy minor at UChicago doesn't have math prereqs. So that might still be an option if it's something you love!

Your campus looks so good in the snow! i go to McGill University and it's not nearly as pretty in the winter!
I almost applied to McGill, such a cool campus right in Montreal - it's one of my favorite cities! You must get a lot of snow there right?
@@MakaylaMacGregor Yeah we do! Lots of snow, but also very very cold weather and slush everywhere! I think that because it is right in the city, winter looks more grey and sad and less magical :)
