When you walked into your pantry I smiled so big just seeing all your bounty in jars. When folks my age say things about the younger folks won't know what to do if times get hard I say "oh yes they will" and think of families like your's and my son's. So many are coming back to hard work but peaceful minds caring for their families. Blessing to you all and have a very Merry Christmas!!

I know this sounds tedious but it's very necessary. My father was on an incline on a hill and was cutting a branch for some reason and the chainsaw kicked back and he hit a shoulder. Could you please share (maybe a mention in a video) your watering situation in the garden? Do you water? If so, how often and how much? Thank you!!

    This is my favorite video yet! I love all the more tutorial / tour type videos too, but there something so wholesome about this one with just a balanced bit of the homestead update at the beginning. Beautiful editing and music choices aswell.😘🤌

    Do you have plans or measurements for your chicken tractor(s)? I really like the design.

    What is the difference between growing food inside a greenhouse than growing outside? Sorry if it's a dumb question I really don't know.

    I live your video. Quick question. I’m so glad you showed your strawberry lemon jam. I made some this year. I did not use pectin I used lemon for the pectin. It turned out the same color as what you showed. I was afraid it was bad. So that’s usually the color of it? Do you happen to know how long it’s good in the fridge after opening?

    • @TheSeasonalHomestead
      @TheSeasonalHomestead  Před 2 lety +2

      It starts out beautiful bright red but because I use less sugar, the color fades in storage. Having lower sugar also lowers the shelf life when open. I would say it could be stored in the refrigerator for about 3 weeks after opening before it starts to go bad.
