That green is so clean !!
I watched episode two first, liked it so I came here next.
Fantastic walkaround👌
Can't wait to see the DIY camper walkaround 🤘
Thanks! Camper video is out as well, check my channel page to find it.
Jim it was great to see you on CZcams today. I followed you on the T4R forum for years and got great info from you. I'm looking forward to seeing you build your CZcams career.
Awesome, thank you!
Didn’t know you had a CZcams channel. I followed your 4Runner guide and purchased my 4Runner with your tips.
Awesome! Thank you!
Awesome build dude! I think your fender trim job looks good. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks! Will do!
Oh yes! Love the Ripcord Mobile.
That is a beautiful color .. love it
Beautiful truck, spruce mica, never seen this color before, will be looking more now.
Well done! Just came across your channel and watched a few vids. Exceptional work on your video content and rig. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, processes and experiences with your rig!
Welcome aboard!
Awesome walk around and great info on the suspension and wheel set-up 😎
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cre8tive garage here showing love keep up the hard work we stopping by from Las Vegas 🏎👋
Your truck is gorgeous!!! I love that color green.
Thank you!!
Love that truck. Will probably do something similar to my 09 Tacoma.
Thanks I will be looking for some light weight wheels as I plan on 34 10.50 bfg s
Hey you inspired me to build my own DIY Camper Pop up. Thank you, your videos and build were incredibly helpful. I wanted to know if the sherpa rack helped with wind noise? After putting on the camper, mines low profile as well only about 1.5 inches off the roof, I get quite a bit of wind noise. Thinking either wind fairing or going to sherpa or prinsu rack. I watched the Sherpa Rack install video and saw your new 3rd gen tacoma, looks great. Only recognized it because the camper was on.
Outstanding job!! Do you think you could have used aluminum tubing instead of steel for the frame? Any changes that you would make now that you've had it for a while? Are you able to keep the dust out?
Sick truck man
"downvote the shit out of it"...Made me burst out laughing...and got my sub!
Very nice! I'm building a camper just like yours. How far is your camper from the cabs rear window? I'm concerned since the truck bed and cab move independently the camper could hit the cab.
yes yes yes yes yes yes
Love the build beautiful truck awesome choices, style and function! JW I’ve only had one taco is that considered long or mid travel not that it matters to me JW what you picked
Stock length arms with extended coilovers would be considered Mid-travel
Hi, great build!!! I'm going to do something similar but I'm putting a bundetec super king RTT on mine. Any issues with the space frame (being the .062 thickness).....
Thanks!
Oh snap can’t wait for episode 2!
What material did you use for those printed parts for the ram mounts?
Great video man. Would you mind sharing your alignment specs? I just have the all pro upper control arms and am rubbing with +4 caster. Maybe I need a different tech.
I'm working on a 35's video and I will go into detail about all of that!
I love how everything is built with a purpose. Function over form. Do you have a front locker as well?
I do not, the truck has A-trac. That in combination with the rear locker has been fine so far. The few times I have been stuck, a front locker wouldn't have made a difference.
Do you have the files posted somewhere for the 3D printed RAM mounts? They are clean
Is the radio you have a ham radio? Or just a CB radio? You did a lot of good work!
Love the e-control antenna mount. Where did you get this from?
How’s your mpg with all the weight and 35s after the regear? Always loved your truck and mines evolving to be pretty similar
Bro i tried to find a spruce mica green Tacoma. I bought a white 2014 V6 Tacoma full cab with 52K miles on it 6 months ago for 23K. It has a full lift kit and blacked out emblems and everything so i cant complain. Im hoping to put Alpha Rex headlights and taillights plus the TRD style grille with raptor lights soon.
This was a neat video, thanks for taking us through your truck. I'm impressed. It's dumb but far and away the most interesting part about it was for me - don't laugh - the TPM canister. How'd you go about building that? That scratches an itch I have. Don't get me wrong, tires/shocks/gearing - all interesting and cool. But it's the small unique bits that I really dug. The pivoting antenna mast. The TPM canister. The cowl intake. The wedge tent (obviously). But yeah, if you have more info on the TPM canister, think I might go and do a thing.
I made a write up in my build thread (link in discription)
@@RipcordHQ thanks!
Is there a reason you went with the aftermarket tension shackle setup vs the shackle flip kit?
Just bought a ‘14 spruce mica TRD.....took me a while to find one also. LOVE this color.
very nice!
that green color is fucking sick!!
You do know that that is the same exact camper “go fast camper” builds and sells for big $ to people. It’s the same basic design. You could tell people your camper is a go fast camper and people would believe it! That’s how good yours build/craftsmanship is!!
most people think it is one at first glance. Then a closer look reveals all the differences
Hey bro I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how you maunted the actual bed /top part of the tent to the actual welded fram you made did you have to drill up to the actual panels?
Toyota💪💪💪💪💪💪😎😎😎 forever Tacoma
Drop a link on that antenna mount?
What size wheels do you have and do you have wheel spacers ?
Where can I find the ram mounts you printed?
💯🔥
where did you get that tire mount for the bed brotha
Are you still running your inner fenders liners and did you also cut 3 inches on the fender or just the flares? Also how much did you cut in the rear flare/fender? Did you also do 3 inches all the way around the fender/flare or came in towards the bottom to avoid cutting off the mounting point of the fender? Thanks in advance.
liners were gone after cutting fenders & flares
@@RipcordHQ thanks for the reply...I have a more questions.
1. Did you evenly cut the fender around or less towards the bottom.
2. Did you leave the mounting points at the bottom intact or did you cut those off, if so...how are they mounted now?
Thanks
Just Subbed the Channel!
Thanks for the Sub!
How’s that Costway? We’re trying to find a good one and this one has some bad reviews but I love the price compared to others.
I personally know 4 other people that have one, not including myself. All are working great with no issues.
What speaker do you have for your radio? My icom is quiet under the seat too :/
don't remember, it was the cheapest non-amplified speaker (only has 3.5mm plug) at the radio store
This is so it. So it.
- Ben
How are you liking your dash cam?
it does what I need it to
Do you have seat covers on your front seats? If so, what kind?
i dont
Always check to see if your side airbags deploy from the 'B' pillar or the side of the seat. I know of people who have been seriously messed-up, because their seat covers interfered with the airbag deployment. Mostly in Honda's, after they were told, 'DO NOT PUT SEAT COVERS ON'!
Hey man! Didn't know you scrapped your 3rd Gen! I gotta start keeping up with things on T4R.org... seriously thought you were still on there! lol
Yeah that poor thing got taken out :(
@@RipcordHQ glad to see you stayed with Toyota. I've got an 05 Tacoma Sport DCLB that I've modded similarly to my 3rd Gen. Btw... Not sure if you remember me... But I used to go by Fightman80. 😁
I always thought the 4Runners and older Tacomas had seats too low. My legs were always splayed out in front of me uncomfortably.
Its a surprisingly common complaint in toyotas
what is rack again, I didn't get it in the video?
Sherpa Equipment Compant "Animas" rack
This is almost the same setup I'm gonna build
What in the world do you do for a living to where you can afford all of this?
I had saved and budgeted for a while for this truck and the things on it.
@@RipcordHQ Of course you did. That's the smart thing to do. Here I am thinking irrational like you have to make $100k a year. Thanks for the response. love the content. Can't wait for another snowy, spooky or christmasy camp vid
Loved with vid..a little late to watch 🙈
Can you Tell ne the Colornumber ??
should be 6V4
Thank you and sorry for the pore English i came from Germany 😊
Ughh I want a tacoma :((
Awesome Build
