I've been trying to fix this for days, thank you very much. All it was about was the domain end on my APN name, fixed that, fixed whole data issue.

Found my operator's settings and inserted them manually even tho they've sent me some settings via SMS initially but those didnt work. Now with the ones i've added manually from their website 4G turned on imiddiatelly. thank you so much!

Finally managed to get my mobile data working. Had to enter 2 different versions of my APN settings according to which website I got the details from. First settings got me connected, but so slow that pages wouldn't load. The second website had different APN settings, which got my mobile data flying. Thank you so much.
Thank you. This was extremely helpful. I am a middle-aged person who doesn't know much about my phone. I had taken it to 6 different Vodafone stores and young "techies," all told me it was my phone. I almost bought a new phone, when all the problem was was an APN setting.
This is why i like max, i changed my cm 11 rom because of data not working, now im going back to cm 11 and adjust my APN. Thanks max!

MzFulfigdBeauti i've been troubleshooting with T-Mobile for almost 3 years now and all they could ever suggest was factory reset every three months! They are nothing but zombies at T-Mobile I have been transferred and transferred and transferred for three entire weeks straight back to the Philippines every night at 11 PM back to United States 9 PM back to the Philippines I have been transferred literally 70 Times in four days that I've been on the phone and still no resolution on anything their troubleshooting is so fantastic that now the phone does not work at all. And my elbows have tumors from having been laying on them for three years straight my shoulders are completely dislocated and I cannot even sleep 10 minutes because the pain is so excruciating from having 157 pounds resting on my rotator cuff's for almost 3 entire years and finally finally someone told me three days ago that they're going to file a claim well I got the information from the claim company and they told me that I no longer qualify even though I've been paying the $20 per month insurance on the phone it should have been filed a week before so now there is a timeframe that they should've filed this in what should've been three fucking years ago! I haven't worked in three entire years I've done nothing but try to get my phones to work all they did was change my phone and promised me I would get an ST card and three months later I went to the store and got an SD card and three days later 94 days later I receive the SD card on my doorstep. I have never spent that much time on the phone with everybody put together in my 55 years of being on this planet as I have with T-Mobile. I am filing with the Better Business Bureau the federal trade commission rip off reports just to name a few T-Mobile will be off the map just like I did with linens and things they're gone off the map thank you so much. So now I get with cricket and five days now not able to send a text and nobody has a fucking clue about anything especially not at the store I don't expect to find anybody with even 1/4 of their brain capacity if you are doing any business in southern Utah.everyone is on a crack pipe no one knows their ass from a hole in the ground. Sorry I'm using voice because I can't see I've been staring at my computer screen and phone screen for three years so I am now legally blind as well.

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it works.. At last someone who can explain it without thinking everyone is a programmer or a super fast screen flicking genius.. One small word of advice. Treat these tutorials as if you are trying to explain it to your great grand mother who just got a new phone and do the steps slowly so people can go back and replay them when they get lost. But, generally, you did good.

how do i get this to work on the lg g flex L23!?!? seems like the lg g flex L23 doesnt even have the mmsc settings... but it does have the DNS options im on the metro network

so im using straighttalk for my galaxy s3,. just put cm12 on there and my data is out, should i search for the apn for straighttalk and copy exactly what i see and succeed, or is there more than that. also my other phone is a straight talk galaxy s4, could i possibly just copy that apn over...plz help

Here's something to check with T-Mobile devices. I recently upgraded to Android 5.0 and updated the HTC apps as well. Something must have toggled the following settings, which results in "Disconnected because service is unavailable" under mobile data. If you're using T-Mobile's WiFi calling, there's a preference in there under settings, more, WiFi calling, tap it to get into connection preferences and make sure you don't have "Never use Cellular Network" selected. This will only use the phone while connected to WiFi. You can select WiFi preferred or cellular network preferred instead.
