- APN that can increase your 4G speed, in some cases even convert it to 5G. Works on any network.
There has been a new APN Code going around in the internet that supposedly can turn any 4G network and convert it to 5G, or in the worst case, make your 4G connection faster
if you are experiencing a slow connection on your 4G network, then give this a try and see if it works for you.
to setup this new apn, go to settings, connections (or More), Mobile Network, Acsess Point Names and create a new APN
Name: 4.4.8.8 5G
APN: 4.4.8.8 5G NOT 4G
Proxy: not required
Port: not required
Username: not required
Password: Not Required
Server: www.google.com
MMSC: Not Required
MMS proxy: Not Required
MMS port: Not Required
APN Protocal: IPV4/IPV6
APN Roaming Protocal: IPV4/IPV6
APN Type: default
Bearer: Select All options, except unspecified
save the newly created APN and reboot the phone
now, try browsing to see if you got a better internet. In my case, it didnt turn it to 5G, however for some people it does work well, mostly in India and mainly on Jio and Airtel network

did all the things, symbol shows 4g+ and shows two bars. speed is 150 mbps and was 15 mbps!!!

Thank you sir.But I have a doubt.Though I received the welcome offer from Jio In my s22 Ultra.It is 5G .But the option of 5G is not seen in it ( as 5G /LTE /3G/2G /Auto connect ).Only Auto connect is seen. Is it because no 5G coverage in our area ?

I had trouble understanding what did you tried to make us understand. After watching your video I was facing difficulty understanding how apn works. Please don't confuse users with nonsense stuff.
Changing the APN and name doesn't increase speed till date. An user should type a fast active DNS server in place of server and proxy with port (if any).
*Wrong proxy with port may lead to lose of data services.

Am not sure whether in your demonstration the speed was faster than before. Can you do a speedtest BEFORE you change the APN, then do another speedtest AFTER you change the APN? In my case, there was no significant change in speed. Thanks

Please be aware It's just renamed Vpn server to 5G and you connect to the server to give it your files..

In the UK 5g and 4g frequencies overlap. So I am assuming it is pushing the 4g device to use those frequencies

But, will this work on my Samsung Galaxy A51 4G, that has the "Developer Options" on? I'm through Boost Mobile and don't want to have any issues with the new changes to the settings in place. Hi! Thanks! At first this didn't seem to work but the next day it kicked in properly and download speeds are greatly improved.
This stopped working. I reinstalled these settings again and activated the 'Roaming' setting too. Presto it returned but to much higher quality than before. Now it downloads at 36mb and uploads at 11.3mb per second. Thanks again.

This is misleading. I was searching for how you can convert a 4G LTE Cell phone to 5G phone so that it can use 5G Towers for calls. From all the comments, it appears that this video only deals with speed, and not ability to use 5G cell phone towers to make, or receive calls, or to text.

5g is a hardware perk not an APN perk .. it may supposedly or in theory could increase your data speeds, anytime you tweak the settings or change the settings in your APN diminished performance in other areas such as sms location etc. Unless you really know what you're doing with your APN settings you're bound to not really get great performance but anyways I'm only here to State the 5G is a hardware not a setting -at it's core principal.. u need a 5g processor, you also need a 5g sim card... Off the top of my head anyway so as far as I can recall.. but in any case if you adjust your APN settings and it diminishes the performance of your phone you can always reset your APN to default or search your specific provider and the location and even where you purchased your sim card or device so you can figure out what to set your APN back to to get the best performance for your carrier/device/local etc...

Thank you, this not only worked on my iPhone 4G service but also on the devices attached to the Hotspot which before this were throttled to a very low bandwidth. This really worked, whereas using the Cloudflare DNS settings actually reduced my 4G speed considerably, whether used on my iPhone or one of the devices connected to it as a Hotspot.
I know my shit will speed right up once the towers are correct. Rn im pulling consistently between 1885-1904 in my multi-core on GB5.

i just saw the video, looking for better speeds...and tried the new APN, but im not sure if it does increase speed, but for sure heats my S20U and incredible temperatures...the 4G didnt changed, the speedtest from ookla came quite slow, frustrating actually...but the loads of data came almost the same as the original APN, so thats why im not pretty sure if it works. DOES YOUR PHONE GETS HOT USING THE APN CONFIG YOU GAVE US? please reply just for continuance of this thread.
