Jack from Supernatural, The Psychic has more to do I think. He was trying to warn her and maybe we would of found out why naked?? . He either can feel another more powerful psychic ( the dean i think) or he is the person being used to help the Dean.

I didn’t realize until later that Tek Knight kept overusing the word “hole” which inevitability setup the surprise for his hole obsession.
I didn't realise until this reaction how much he kept repeating "hole" and touching circular things.
It goes one step deeper when you realize his writers are writing those phrases as an inside joke without Tek catching on. That's why the thrusting deeper line caught him off guard.

The funniest part of the episode is that in the scene where the penis pops, Amazon has “general trivia” if you pause the video, and the trivia LITERALLY is just “In this universe no penises are safe. Just ask Termites boyfriend”

The actor playing Sam is doing a great job. Portraying a severely mentally ill but sympathetic character isn't easy.
He is bursting with charisma in every damn scene. The writers are giving him good characterization too and the actor is playing him well.
Hope he breaks out big time after this show. He gives me strong evan peters vibe.

As someone who had hoped Jeffrey Dean Morgan was cast at Tek Knight I was pleasantly surprised by the character in this episode, the actor did a great job at this portrayal

This main cast is so charismatic, I love every single one of them so far.
Tek knight in the comics had a suit and was a combination of Batman and Ironman. They didn’t talk about any powers there but here he had intense observation powers. Details stand out to him. Makes me think of Bruce ways brilliant mind able to ever remember the shape of jaws he had punched. But also reminds me of RDJ play in Sherlock. His victims beaten into comas … def Batman vibes lmao.
I think the little boy who appears to Luke in episode 1 and tells him about the woods is a manifestation of Cate's brother that she sent into the woods when she discovered her powers. Marie's sister is also super powered and going to fit into the mystery somehow. So three sets of supe siblings

I am loving this show right now. Love everything they're doing with Jordan's character, what a cool concept and I really enjoy how they opt for classic "panning shot with a convenient pillar or other object in the foreground to allow Jordan to change forms as we pass over" instead of gratuitous CGI of them changing forms on-screen. Just feels way more satisfying as a filmmaking approach when they clearly have the option to do it the other way if they wanted.

Tbh I actually agree with the mind wipe theory. That sudden cut was very intentional and you can tell just because at the end marie raises her eyebrow which hints at the fact she has no idea what’s going on. Also Jorden is in their female form in that scene which isn’t very consistent with what happened earlier seeing as they were a male when kissing marie

This was actually my favourite episode uptil now and I really enjoyed the sudden cut in the end that made everything more kinda mysterious and interesting like I asked myself what happened and so on. This episode really made me happy and let me really look forward to next weeks episode :)
Loved the reaction to that ending! Normally I feel like a good jump cut pulls you to a new perspective that creates irony or shock, but it’s the comprehension that makes it effective. That jump cut just felt like being flung out into space! Either genius or a big miss… but we won’t know for a week! Definitely guarantees one of the highest follow up watch ratings! Great analysis!

I really like the portrayal of Tek Knight in the show. In the comics he just had a suit which is cool, but it made NO sense. If everyone is a supe and had super powers, he had none because it was just the suit, but in the show you can explain it because he didn’t have fighting powers

I'm predicting both the ending, and what we got sooner in the episode with the psychic frat dude is setting up some Professor X stand in for this universe. I don't think the first time it was the frat dude because the frat dude seemed pretty confused himself, and idk why they'd have him say "It's not what you think" if they simply wanted to show him being a nasty guy. I think it's someone with incredibly strong telepathic powers who can basically blip people away like he did twice in this ep, and can possibly see into people's minds from very far away. Or should I say she? Perhaps it is the new dean?

also the song itself while funny and fits the weird activities of Ten Knight, it also includes the rapper with that weird reverse part. The reversing part fits what happened to Jorden and Marie; rewinding back to where they were before Emma came in.

I think the doctor is the mind wiper. Or one of his kids. I think rufus the psychic was part a red herring, part a gore scene, part establishing a progression of Maries powers.

not sure if they revealed a potential weakness of homelander but on ep3 one of the soldiers said that supes have a higher sense of hearing and it affects them ultimately same thing happened when queen maeve pierced his ear and got stunned for a moment on the boys last episode.
They already showed it as his weakness on season 2
butcher already used it against him, he's too strong he just firmed it and destroy the speaker
Cate was Luke's handler, he was getting too close to the truth and was taken out. Andre is now #1, which is why Cate seduced him and is now his handler. Other than Rufus, Cate is the only one that can put people to sleep, which would explain the last cut-scene.
I also suspect that there is a character that hasn't been revealed yet.

The doctor’s name may be a reference to Miracleman/Marvelman’s mad doctor, Doctor Gargunza.
I think the psychic guy gave Marie an astral projection of how things could play out. From the first cut to the later cut all was happening in her mind or dreams, kinda like that one character in The Boys Season 3 who could trap you in your dreams. I feel like the astral projection was mentioned purposefully. So everything that happened to her during the two cuts was in her dreams or in another plain or something. This would then help her find Emma and Sam.
Soooo Marie and Jordan Huh, That’s definitely a twist I wasn’t expecting, I was like they are getting a little close there but when she switched to him I was just gonna be a quick peck but damn I wasn’t expecting a full on make out session let alone them full on Getting it on!, We all knew what Tek Knight was gonna do just from the look at that bagel. That actor who plays Tek Knight really had those tongue twisters down, Sam and Emma definitely are gonna hit it off, that I can see coming unlike Marie and Jordan, the promo for next week shows some interesting stuff but I love everything about this show especially the mystery aspect of tonight’s episode where Marie’s ‘protect’ gets cut off and then we just cut to her and Female Jordan both Naked in Bed with Jordan putting her arm over her like one would. If they make Marie bi/pansexual it’s not a problem for me, i actually like them together. That was a lot I’m sorry lol

I'm really confused on Tek Knight's motivation. I don't know if this the show purposefully not answering questions or me being stupid but I assume Tek Knight doesn't make a move without Vought so why would Vought go so hard against the Dean since she is in the woods so she clearly is involved with Vought
I might be wrong but I got the sense that he wanted a good story (and someone to pin it on, the dean) to benefit his relationship with vought. So maybe he’s not in constant direct contact but produces content for them so wants their favour. And he chose the dean because he looks down on those without powers. Just an idea idk
I think his job is to clean up the mess and make Vought not be the problem. So if he could make one of the top five or Shetty be the problem, Vought could then sweep in and "fix" the problem and look like the hero.

why is everyone suspecting my girl Cate? lol she has shown multiple times that she only uses her powers on enemies (or to get free drinks), like... she refused to use it with Luke, because he needed to grieve his brother, also she didn't use it to stop Andre from investigating the woods... also she had a convulsion from pushing too hard to save Andre's ass at the end of ep.2... if she was on Vought's side, why would she do that? She would've let him be killed or be taken to the woods...

I love the yin-yang of Jordan’s powers. Their male persona protects/ is the defense and their female attacks / is the offense… together they make a complete being. I’m pleasantly surprised by how poetic and non-heavy handed the handling of a “pronoun Supe” is.

What if they had Cate make them forget where Emma and Sam(what the hell is the brother's name?) went?
So if they have to exist at the school, there is a massive reason why they would be better served by not knowing some things, especially if; which they believe, Tek Knight is digging into all of them.

I thought this show was going to flop hard until I watched all 4 episodes tonight. God was I wrong. I’m glad I gave it a try because it’s pretty on par with The Boys

This is like dark comedy with drama and episode 4 is a perfect example of it. My god the mental health aspect with superhero backdrop especially with Sam, his heightened schizophrenia giving super-strength and stamina makes him unpredictably strong. What they did to Sam is barbaric. He is literally the victim and it's hard to watch the pain he is going through and actor who portrays him just brings more and more layers to the performance. The whole Tek Knight having his shown "The Whole Truth" is a nice offshoot to ABC Network's show "20/20" to figure out the whole who murdered the so and so victim lol.
I think the bumpiness of this episode is VERY intentional and is suppose to build suspense for when they reveal what happened in those time jumps in the following episodes. Overall enjoyed the episode and yeah the Boys is known for being over the top graphic so is is necessary no, but it’s on brand

i was watching this on my ipad it was on low battery, and end part sudden blackout i thought my ipad died lol
I didn't put it together the first time, but after watching a second time I have a theory and I really think I'm right. The blackout/time jump wasn't the psychic boys power (it just coincidentally happens to align with his power), it isn't anybody's power, it's something that's physically happening to specifically Marie, perhaps a side effect of blood loss maybe?
They’ve only shown that occurring this episode specifically though, plus we KNOW mind control is 100% happening.
First with Sam, then Golden Boy, now with everyone who was trying to help Sam.
