- For our seventh installment of 'Tone, Sweet Tone', we're blessed to have Adam Levy swing through to play and talk about the original ca. 1967 Stratocaster famously belonging to Ry Cooder, played through Ry's '64 Vibroverb.
Here, Adam treats us to his original composition titled "Blueberry Blonde".

Not sure how I missed this all these 3 years. Drop D playing, sweet as pie, on one of the coolest guitars ever.
So you're the one with the winning bid on Reverb! CONGRATS!!! That's pretty special. Enjoy! ♥️
Beautiful playing on a beautiful guitar!
Really hope this guitar hasn’t ended up in a vault never to be seen again.
It’s for sale on reverb now. 150k
Love this tune, and it's in my key!
Boy, that neck pickup is just killing it!
Full range of beautiful tones
Gorgeous tone...Beautiful playing
Holy Paderewski Batman! Love this piece -- great texture and style. Thank you Adam.
Yeah, that's awesome!
awesome
Great, I wanted also to ear each pickup separately, to have an idea of what's the sound
wow
Beautiful playing! Anyone know how much the Coodercaster weighs?
What tuning was that?
It sounded lower. LOL@Emilio Fuentes
@Emilio Fuentes probably flatwounds...??
Drop D
Well? Don’t keep the secrets to yourself! What strings has it got on it? How’s the action? 😁
What song was he playing?
Blueberry Blond. One of his originals
Is this a guitar playing ninja?
take your mask off.
It’s New York, the land of doing everything the government tells you. Unfortunately it’s a sign of your political beliefs that these folks like using to let people know where they stand. People can do whatever they want though just don’t make other do it. Funny part is this dude is probably vaxxed and still using the mask
what a silly thing to say
looking back,,, we can all see how stupid the mask thing was.
can we? i, for one, am grateful that some people decided to not evacuate their effluence all over the produce section.
having a baby born during the pandemic certainly made me appreciate masks, especially ()n95 masks.
