Wait...Stephen A didn't hard against Embiid who kicked Hartenstein in the groin, kicked Mitchell Robinson in the knee, and pulled Mitchell Robinson to the floor. I don't recall him saying he called the league office about Embiid's behavior. I don't even understand why someone in the media would go so far as to call the league office on a player.
Don't let the league BS you and suger-coat it. He should've been suspended, fined and had the foul on Doncic upgraded to a Flagrant 2 after the game. He didn't get suspended because the league found out the Kawhi was going to be out for game 4. So it was to allow the Clippers to at least be competitive with Kawhi out. They just dismissed it like it was no big deal for ratings. That's all. It was a business decision plain and simple.
Mavs fan, and while I was rooting for him to get tossed, I wasn't against him hitting Luka.... they allowed the continuation, and think maybe Luka oversold that contact, which was after the initial whistle on (I think) Zubak.
But he did need to go after the run in later and the shoving match with PJ. PJ needed to go too, because that was his second altercation in a couple minutes, and he was more aggressive with Russ than the first time with Mann and Powell.
No need to go beyond that... think the officials on the court gave everybody a little bit of room to play physically with high energy, and when things started to get chippy and heated they acted appropriately to calm the mood and get the game finished without more shenanigans
