The first Taming is the hardest. Its much easier with another tame bird showing the untamed bird that you as a human mean no harm to them.

That's not how it works with Budgies , when you have one already tame Budgie it's not wise to bring another one into the home because the tame ones will show very bad aggression towards the newcomer cause they tend to have dominance over everything.
Secondly Budgies when together won't want anything to do with you as their owner and they won't think of you as their flock member , they often form a bond with each other and then single you out and show aggression towards you invading their space.

@@EpicTacoSenpai the solution for taming a new coming bird when you already have one is to tame the new one first and get it used to being around you before introducing it to the bird that is already part of the family then when it's time to get the new one settled in put the birds in the same room together but in separate cages for a few weeks so they can adjust to each other and so you can spot any aggressive behavior in the established bird. Only after there isn't no aggression shown then you can introduce them to each other while under supervision just in case they need to be separated immediately.

Bruh 😂 I don't know why my 7th bird that is a budgie a maid came and said "I saw this poor bird on the ground and I don't know who owns it so I'm giving to you because you have 5 birds" so I touched it a little and in 2day it learned to step up 😳 I was playing with it and I think she thought maybe the human won't hurt Me hmmmmm I got lucky 😎😎😎😎😎😎

I had recently bought a new budgie from the store but my cousins ringneck injured it to a point where it's recovery was near impossible and I had to euthanize it. I have lost three budgies in the past year (because of bird attacks) and at this point I can't even look at my current ones without crying. I still take care of my current three and they are in great health but I can't get over when I held the poor girl when she passed away. It's heartbreaking man

never EVER put Budgies around Indian RingNecks because they are bigger and stronger than Budgies and they are two different types of birds that have completely different needs , all you did was basically put a terror with a helpless individual that can't defend itself in any way.
RingNecks are a bit aggressive and will harm any other bird that invades their space and since Budgies are always wanting to be near other birds that clingy bit can get them into trouble very quickly when another much larger bird is nearby.

@@josephbennett3482 yeah I was an idiot. The ringneck was in separate spaces and cages, but it was getting better at climbing off its cage and would get on top of the budgies cages. We would get him off immediately when we saw but it would still sneak there and try to hurt the budgies
