After doing a bit of research,this particular set of commercials hails from April of 1978. The ad for the 2 'new' sitcoms,Rollergirls ,and Joe and Valerie is the main clue. They both debuted April 24th of '78 (info courtesy of Google search). I apparently have too much free time on my hands😅

2:13 - Chris Bliss was the juggler who was the opening act for the Jacksons' Victory Tour. Who, in their right mind, would hire a JUGGLER to perform in a STADIUM??? I still remember going to the Victory concert, in 1984, and sitting way up in the stands, at Exhibition Stadium, wondering why there was a lunatic onstage, trying to catch bugs with his bare hands. That's what it looked like, even on the big video screens. It was so ludicrous, that I never forgot it, or the name of the juggler.
You often see weird performers like that at state fairs. I attended the Eastern States Exposition in 1996 because my then-girlfriend wanted to see Billy Ray Cyrus. The act that went on stage just before Billy Ray was (are you ready for this?) an Iron Jaw act. For those who have no idea what that is, that's a person, most often a man, whose act consists of balancing large, cumbersome items on their jaw, and it dates back to Vaudeville days. The guy actually had a canoe balancing on his chin. Helluva lead-in to "Achy Breaky Heart", eh?
