Loving your tutorials, for years I have been apprehensive on modelling, today’s the day I sit down and feel confident in learning your techniques.
Thank you for sharing your expertise.

Michael You make the jewelery work the most difficult, Thank you!

Nice one. 31:20 you can also access modeling menu with right mouse click. When modeling cylinder shape polygons should be closed with connect object. In case if you want "watertight" model. Cylinder caps are always loose if you do not connect them.

92 was not a good number for your symmetry. Use something divisible with 8.

Really enjoyed the video and more important had fun and learnt a lot during the process. I do appreciate the time effort you have put to bring and share this. Thanks.

not really symmetrical when you have an extra space at each quarter.., no one pointed that out.. I tried it with 88 or 94 segments and resulted to that same dilemma... only work around I found is not to do symmetry and taking the time to select every other polygon all around and it was perfect... spacing wise

the problem with your symmetry method is that you lose the rotational symmetry of the object. Every 90 degress you have to unextruded polygons next to each other. Learned lots though.

Just found out that at 09:25 use slide tool to slide those edges can achieve the same purpose without making it editable and can even avoid the problem at 11:26.

I'm amazed at how you could follow the exact same steps as in the video and I don't get the same results... Nothing works properly!! T.T
