I do believe total tops exist since total bottoms exist. I mean, I tried topping once or twice in my life, but I just didn't feel as excited as I did bottoming. I just don't have interest in topping. Therefore, I believe there's tops who feel the same way when bottoming.

I personally don't believe there's no such thing as a total top, & that's because it changes with the circumstances & the person. I'm versatile & it depends on the person I'm with & what I'm wanting sexually at the time.
My husband of 30yrs is a total top, He's also 16yrs older than me, Who happens to be a masculine young father who dealt with both and he knew of this. So when I told him I like our situation, But, your not gonna take that experience from me if wanting to be the top as well. Now, you have a choice to make. And, No you will not be there when it happens.

I just don’t understand why people feel the need to inform you what they think you are. At the end of the day, people will always try to enforce their opinions and life experiences on you. You have to know yourself. And that may take some time. Once you do, you’ll realize that people were wrong about a lot of restrictions put on you.
I do believe there are 100% bottoms and same for 100% tops, reason for them being what they identify does not really matter. Some you already discussed. Of course part of the journey is to try different things. You might have tasted clam, you might have tried bottoming, or topping. But in the end of the day, you will have a strong preference, and that is what is it about.
I concider myself a total bottom. Yes I tried topping, but find it hard to keep it hard, and yes one can take a pill for that, but that does not fix the emotional and psycological aspects one have to be in for say topping. So I don't enjoy it, even if I would have used a pill to fix the medical issue. Compared that with say bottoming, I absolutely enjoy it and will do it any day, especially if there is a great top who knows what he is doing. Add a nice sausage, personality and other things, and I am in heaven.
I know some people to abstain from sex purely because they are bottoms, and don't have the size to top, but they find is painful to bottom, so they don't enjoy it. I know of tops, who for example will never bottom for also the pain aspect.
As I said, I believe your question is about who you really are by fact of your preference more than 90% of the times, not the once in a blue moon exception.

Total tops do exist however I think that type of man especially if he is very masculine has a hard time identifying with gay culture. So he might identify as anything but gay. And is really mostly interested in femboys, sissies, and twinks.

so me and my partner has been together for a year and a half. were both verse (im usually verse when single, anyway). i have been the bottom for most parts in our relationship. Why everyone is so obsessed of someone’s position in sex. These topict stigmatize people who are selfconfident not enough for accepting themself. For example me. Having sub preferences I am so sick of everyone around told me that bottoms are not needed because they are too many. So I just stoped looking for sex and relationships at all. Because averyone said I didn't fit. The shame became unbearable. Ye maybe I am just weak, but not everyone is strong.
