- Exploring Pune food yet again. This is by far one of my most enjoyable Thali experiences. And I can count all of the thalis I've tried in Mumbai and other parts of India. This Maharashtrian thali is so good. You have to try it and experience it. Here is the address and location of Hotel Shreyas in Pune where I enjoyed this unlimited vegetarian Indian platter for just Rs.310.

This is best hotel in Pune to have vegetarian food! We have been visiting this Hotel for last years. The taste and kwality of food always same. Very hygienic place

Hi Shewta to me it looked similar to a Karnataka meal the tomato soup is like tomato rasam in Karnataka , varan bhat is similar to. Dal in Karnataka , drumstick sambar ,methi sabzi Karnataka food & Maharashtra food so similar

Shweta madam the wadi is not alu wadi, it is kotambir Wadi.
The Puran polo is called holige here in Karnataka & preparedsimilarly using jaggery cloves , elichi ,channa dal its eaten with a teaspoon of ghee here & some milk

Opposite Shreyas on the same Road inside Dhanraj Society, there is a dining hall called Aadha dining. It's no frills dining experience, more on karwar side to the taste, Sunday Morning food is best one can dig in. केळ्याची कोशिंबीर, रस्सम, दालीतोय, आळूची भाजी, मसालेभात must try atleast once in life

Kolache pohe is not what you had its prepared as follows poha ,chopped Onion, green chilli is mixed along with tamarind sauce & pinch of salt & it's kept for some time if you use grated coconut instead tamarind it's called dadpe pohe

Shreyas Pune has been all time favorite restaurant since many ages now... In those days it used to be only one restaurant which served thalis in pune.....

I have always loved Maharashtrian thalis in Pune (have been having them for years now), you should try Rasoi Dining Hall -- Shaniwar Peth too for simple yummy Maharashtrian thali. I love Shreyas but Rasoi is my absolute favorite!

Its probably the अळू(colacasia leaves) bhaji not methi I suppose by look...
In Chhole, they add alittle bit of tamrind also in it for gravy.... Rest all was mouth watering.... Especially the Ghee soaked puranpoli😍

Great video!!! Thank you! I need to visit this place when I am next in Pune. Also the gravy was not methi! It’s a traditional Maharashtrjan gravy made from colocassia leaves (alu bhaaji)!

Hi shweta try vasant pushpa dining hall at pune opposite PU LA Deshpande udyan it's new and thali over there is only 200 rs but in very less time has become famous over there and they have innumerable items including welcome drink in just 200 rs. And food is delicious.
