"It's a BEAD !" I could hear Alex's voice in my head as I looked down at the ground at a cobalt blue bead... in the parking lot of the YMCA in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Of course, I picked it up and thought, "Perfect for crafting" (a la Kit and Caboodlers) !
I did that the other day when I randomly found a black cut glass button on a beach :)))
I did that recently too, as I was sorting an old tin of buttons!
I am also in Orange County & my 4 year old granddaughter &. I LOVE to "mudlark" in the yard. I will put random glass beads out for her and she says "A BEAD, BEAUTIFUL!!"
@@melissabryant9090 Wonderful idea!
Lol that’s so funny! I hear their voices in my head every time I say hello!
4 mud larkers with so much enthusiasm and friendship is a joy to watch.
those bottles are so clean! please do a video on how you clean them, the bottles we find here are always grungy! Great video!
Check their channel page. They have done a video on how they clean bottles in the past.
The friendship that has grown between yourselves and Docking Bay 51 has been a joy to watch. Wonderful video, and lovely finds!
Yay!!! Love Docking Bay and Northern Mudlark collabs!!!
Don't know if I've missed it, but would love to see how you get your bottles so clean.
Thank you, ladies, for such great videos. You've made my recovery time at home so much more pleasant.
It was hard not to notice the attention to detail on the headless, armless porcelain lady . . . and the bottles and obelisk were fun too. Great show gals :)
When the bagpipes were playing it looked like she had a pimple on her right buttock cheek. I laughed so hard!
We used to giggle as kids, when my meek & mild Grandmother would express her displeasure at something and express “ OH! SWAMPROOT”. I am Almost 70 years old and still giggled at the word swamp root😆
The naked bum and bagpipe music made me LOL as well as your comment about how you pushed Sarah into the bottle digger's hole and nicked her match safe...thanks for the laughs ...always a great time watching your adventures!
Yes I agree I like how the mudlarking community collaborates with each other! I enjoyed all the personalities and all the knowledge! Thank you all for the adventures!💕💕WV🇺🇸
I had a good laugh out loud when Alex had the bagpipes thunderously playing while zooming in on the headless booty lady !
Could that acorn knob have been the one broken off that foot warmer you found Gail?. My nan had that same bottle of Creme de Menthe. I used to have a drink of it once in a while.
You have a lot of super finds and lots more to find there at that dump site.
My thought as well. I was talking to the screen, Stop, try to see if it is a match! Love the break from my crazy city life when I can join you ladies on an adventure...we never know what you will find.
Thought the same thing. lol
I thought the same thing about the acorn being broken off of the end of the foot warmer. Great minds think alike! Greetings from eastern North Carolina.
It looks like that little acorn guy could’ve been the knob on the foot warmer! Beautiful finds, as always 😍❤️
It was so nice to see a wholesome, natural looking lady figurine, such a pity she was missing her head and arms.
What a bunch of wonderful treasures. I'm flabbergasted at how many bottles you come across, we'll done ladies! Always enjoy the videos, Don Wilson, Tacoma, Washington.
I also love that old plant pots, little wonder that it survived all this years .
Should save that bottom shot FOR THE END of the video! Lolol
Such a wealth of finds from this bottle dump! The nude figure is probably a German "bathing beauty" from the 1920's/Art Deco period. They were very popular. I have 2 Dr. Kilmer's Swamp Root bottles, one a regular size and one a really tiny sample size, possibly smaller than yours. I had no idea the Dr. Kilmer made it all the way to the UK! I thought it was an American brand!
I've got to be honest, I'm so envious of the amazing locations with the awesome finds that you 2 get to hunt!! Your many wonderful finds at this location blows my mind 😮😊
OMG that closeup of naked statue was hilarious !!!!and the music you paired with it !!!!….lol lol 😂
What a giving bottle dump. I could dig there forever. Great finds everybody.
Could you please add a short viedo of glass bottles cleaning? It must be fantastic to see something so dirty clean up so beautifully and bright. Thank you.
Some great finds there ladies...be great when vegetation dies down.....xx
I like when you talk about the history of your finds, I think Victorian history is very interesting.
I learn such a lot watching you both mudlarking as well as other channels that you collab with. Its the highlight of my day when I've see you've posted. Love the headless, armless nude lady haha. Xxxx
Oh, how I would love to be able to come along with them to one of their little dumps or ocean side adventures! They seem so wonderful and happy doing these things and my little hoarding gremlin inside me itches to find my own treasures. As a child my mom literally had to shake out my pockets everyday because I was always looking down for anything shiny lol. I love bottles and sea glass and all of their content! Texas I not a great place for those little adventures but one can dream to go over there with them (: .
Thank you for keeping my dream alive!
“Look at that bottle! It’s gymungous!”😁🤣
Bless ur hearts! The KKK bottle reactions... love y'all even more now! XXXOOO from North Carolina USA
The clean up is a gorgeous labour of love. It must have taken hours.
You get your bottles and jars so lovely and clean beautiful
MICK`S DROWN SOUNDS LIKE THE ATTACK OF THE MONSTER MOSQUITOES LOL
I stopped the video twice trying to figure out what was going on outside. Hahahaha
Absolutely great, your find ,of the naked lady! Had a really good laugh!!l love your, outings , to the mud hills and the things you find!!! Robbie
So many great finds . The bottles all cleaned up so beautifully .
So many lovely bottles and other treasures! But, the real treasure is what you make of your finds…you’re both so imaginative and creative. You deserve all the success and friendships you have made, through your kindness, determination, fearlessness, friendly manners and generosity of spirit.
Aw, thank you so much 💖 xx
Great finds! The tea strainer would make the cutest mouse !
Lol! Bottom zoom made me laugh!
Lidia (LOL) and Alex this one was brilliant, love your guests and all your finds!!
It's great to see you all together mudlarking some wonderful finds xxx
The lavender bottle is my fav! And the naked lady is quite elegant! Love that kidney liver and bladder cure bottle! What fun you gals had. Always excited to see what you will create..
God, what an awesome haul!! I love the bottles, in particular the 'potion bottle' and the 'kidney cure'. But I have to admit, I am disturbingly excited by Alex's headless, armless, nude lady... Now THAT is a superlative Round Bottom! It's nice to know that some things never go out of style!
Dr Kilmers swamp root is still made today as a liver and kidney cleanse. Milk Thistle root is more popular. Kidney disease is very prevalent and people don’t really talk about it the way they talk about cancer. The stuff does help a bit
@@janinemcmahon218 I have a Dr Kilmers swamp root kidney cure bottle I found myself at an old ash tip in Stockport. I found it upside down with the stopper still in and what I'm assuming is the original remedy still inside. I still have it and display it amongst my clay pipes on the mantle.
Wow! My favorite of your finds was the tiny swamp root bottle. I am a pharmacist and am very interested in these old quack cures. Thank you for the adventure. You are such a pleasure to watch.
Hi I have a Dr Kilmers swamp root and kidney cure sample bottle I found at an old ash tip in Stockport. I found it buried upside down with the stopper still in and what I am assuming is the original "cure" amongst other small poison and wonky old old bottles and clay pipes. I am being genuine if you are interested in purchasing anything, I can provide pictures.
It blows my mind that your bottle dumps are still so abundant - how lucky you are :)
Best bottle day ever! Love Sarah's matchbox. You're great friends to clean it up for her. Love, love your channel and all your videos!
Crazy about your obelisk!!! And both of you!!!
Hi Alex and mum, my what a wee cute bum you found lol. Xx
The adventures of Alex down the Rabbit hole. Some of the labels from the old brands are wonderful. The bottles would have been very colourful
Sitting on the shelves.
I believe the brown acorn thing actually came off the end of the water warmer you had found with the end missing...and i really guessed the glass prism to be a thermometer you may be able to buy a small thermometer and fit in the spot....love this place it holds lots more treasures and i really hope you repair the ladys body i collect pictures and statues of ladies especially older looking ones their beautiful.
My thoughts too Tammy. As soon as I saw the foot warmer without the end I immediately realised that the "acorn knob" found just before was probably the missing part (or at least the same part from another foot warmer). I didn't have to guess about the obelisk though as I recently found one with a broken thermometer in place.
2:03 I almost spit my drink out!!! LOL!!!
that doll is hilarious
An excellent and varied haul of bottles with interesting histories behind them, always enjoyable. Sue and Ian, Australia
Hi guys! Love your programme and enthusiasm .
On your pottery there are some terms you were looking for...so here goes:
A raw clay item that has been thrown on the wheel, hand constructed, or made in a mold and has not been fired is called greenware.
the first firing is the bisque fire
the second firing is the glaze firing
there are more firings and other alternate firings that can be done but not in your little kiln which doesn't fire high enough.
althought these are the simplest examples, there are loads of fantastic books on pottery of all sorts including Raku (which is breathtakingly stunning!)
All the best & keep on Mudlarking.
Wanted to see the pretty stinky clear bottle Gail found… with rope design on bottom… missed shrews and kitty, loved the variety of finds!
Great show again girls. About the match case, never let the truth get in the way of a good story. LOL.
Love the discovery of the thermometer/desk set. The match holder is lovely. And history of the bottles is always fun to hear about, especially when Cobleskill and Binghamton are not-so-far-away places.🙂
Some wonderful, beautiful finds. Love and God Bless Ladies
AARRGGHH! That tractor got you again! };]
A cheeky little find and a top video..stay happy...Victor...
Hi Gail, that large bottle you found would look great with a large red or yellow rose in it. Xx
That naked butt is hilarious. Amazing finds. Thank you, ladies.
I was wondering if the small acorn was the broken off know off of the foot warmer that you had shown. It looks like the same color & material. : )
Another fun video with you all, yay! That little mini acorn is almost the missing centre-piece of Willie's recent 'Motto' Ware find (Dirty Secrets of Scotland). There was a KKK tomato sauce on sale in Oz early 1900's, looking for any connection or possible slang/local saying, IE "triple a ok" denoting quality was shortened to KKK, or such.
This was a good place to search, and so many finds. I like all those lovely bottles and the histories behind them. It was funny when Alex found the cheeky girl figure lol lovely shot of the newly emerged tortoiseshell butterfly. Was a. Lovely video, thank you and enjoy your week
I love you ladies 🙌❤️your my favorite, love beach walks and bottle dumps
LOL at the Braveheart reference!!!
A very “cheeky” episode!
My fav ladies. You're not going to believe this but today on antiques road show they had a pipe made from sandstone that's abundant here and one Civil War pipe was valued between $3000-5000 US dollars.
I'm so glad to see you this early morning before bed. Hugzzz. Oh no. Who is Mic going to blow up this time?? 🤣🤣💗 I see a blue bead in your pile Gail.. get it get it. 🤗💗
The stinky bottle had a Deco look- with smell of sulfur- I recognize the smell and perms were all the rage in the 20s on- my guess as a hairdresser! 😎✌️🇺🇸
Great shots with the new drone. The coastline shots are going to be great.
,the tiny bottles are my favorites and I absolutely love the poison bottles!!! I want one so bad!!!!
Enjoyed. Again. Thank you from the land down under.
Always so interesting what you find. Love the show and tell bits at the end too. Always learn something new. X
Lovely video and well edited love the clay pipe and some amazing bottles
I love marmalade jars! So many uses for them!
wow! I was born in Binghamton, and grew up very near there!!! How weird to watch your video from England to find something about a place I grew up in.....how fun!!!!!
I always look forward to your videos. Thanks for sharing with us.
Another enjoyable Video ! Thank you both !
What a great day we had was so much fun.

Beautiful day. Great company and Wonderful finds!
Excellent video ladies! Wonderful finds and histories, so fascinating! Also I am loving these collaborations, double the fun 😃 x
Some excellent finds! Love to hear the history of the bottles - fascinating. Way cool match case. Thanks for another great episode.
Your bottles are beautiful and they cleaned up very well. I love the antique plant pot. Have a great week, thank you.
Well it's always I like to go on your adventures with you. Thank you for showing us everything that you could at this time since you have some more pieces left to show us at a later date
What an awesome place with a lot of really different cool bottles. I love the collaborations you are all doing at the moment. I love the fact that nearly all the channels I watch collect different things. And the nicest thing is everyone seems to be really nice people. 🤗xx
A magic Genie bottle! Great finds by all!
Love watching the collab, Sarah and Mick are funny people! That headless bisque statue is beautiful! Or should I say booty-full? 😂 Some great bottles, the swamp root kidney cure is awesome, the pickle jars are such interesting shapes... The match case Sarah found is amazing all cleaned up, can't believe it still opens/closes.
Omg the shoes on the figurine tell me she's probably a Hoffman and Galluba bisque bathing belle of a good size❣️ she would have originally worn a real bathing suit and bathing cap over a mohair wig. I have one smaller for which I paid $600 and a larger $900. I'm dying 😍
What a wonderful site! And so huge! Plenty of video footage! x
Wonderful finds this time girls! You must go back again! Stay safe out there!! ❤️❤️❤️
Very cheeky episode lol
