What is so beautiful, as well as all of the glass you're finding, is Cecelia and her mom enjoying time together. What wonderful memories they're creating, and maybe a lifelong pursuit for both of them to enjoy together or alone. Helping children to discover their interests and talents at an early age is so important. These creative pursuits can help us through many of life's challenges. I can't imagine how I would have coped through cancer treatments without my interest in art and the business my husband and I began years and years ago making our own products from my designs. To this day, my creative side sustains me and gives me purpose. Here's to you, Cecelia and Florrie!!!!

Absolutely love seeing Cecilia letting a snail crawl on her hand and enjoying mudlarking! So many children these days are stuck to their phones and IPads, not gaining any knowledge of the real world and its history. Flo is so knowledgeable about so many things! I follow her on Instagram and love seeing her finds and the history! I love the drip that Gail found that looked like a shru🙂 it even looked like it had eyes! The necklace is absolutely awesome!!!!!!

Hello Gail and Alex!! What incredible history and old glass finds at Seaton's "Blobby" beach. Lol ; ) Gail, the necklace you made turned out so cool...a definite "one of a kind" piece that would get the "Shwoo of approval". Wink wink ; ) I was amazed at the "secret sea glass", you would've never believed it to be glass just by looking at it! Another awesome adventure from our "digging" Diva's, "The Northern Mudlarks"!! Have a wonderful week...Big ((Hugs)) and Love from Texas!! xoxo : )

What a Wonderful all girls beach lark at the glass works. Loving these collabs with other Larkers. That little Cecilia has a keen eye. I saw her and her Mom Florrie in a video at the Victorian dump with Simon and a few others. I thought it was cute at the roundup Florrie was trying to par down their treasures and had some of Cecilia's treasures were among the non-keepers. Cecilia knew what was important to her and quietly walked over and put them back in the keeper pile. Gail, the necklace of (Glass Droplets) you made from Cecilia's gift is certainly one of a kind, as well as whimsical. Thank all of you Gals for sharing your Lark with us. : )

Enchanting place- Love the blobs and slag. Also the wonderful figures someone placed around. I love it when people make anonymous art and leave it around for others to enjoy. Necklace came out great! Somewhat reminds me of the asymmetrical fringe-y necklaces Native Americans of the Southwest US made of sticks of coral, and also the individual blobs and sticks remind me of ancient Roman phallic charm pendants.

Very enjoyable video and learning history is always fun! There is a large community of artists in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. We stayed at a B&B around Christmas. They had the most beautiful glass tearshaped ornaments in different colors. They were the cast-offs from a local glass blowing artist. Reminds me of the pieces you found except larger.
