You can never go wrong with the Boathouse....just booked it for our family dinner for my husband's birthday...everything about it is just the best!!!

Finally…someone that agrees with my husband and I. We are local and are fortunate enough to be able to eat at some of the best Disney restaurants regularly and this one was just meh… for us and one of the most expensive, for $350 we can eat at Topolinas twice. We wouldn’t return one and done, my husband still to this day brings it up when we are planning dinner dates. Thanks for your reviews we are Orlando transplants from MD so we can be close to Disney, our family and friends thought we were crazy too but it was 100% the best decision. Doesn’t get better than margs at the Mexico pavilion after work on a random Tuesday. IYKYK

We went to the Flying Fish early November. I had the same dinner as Leslie, which I enjoyed but overpriced. But, totally agree with your review on service, wait time, bread, pricing. I would have to agree with you! We went last month and we weren't blown away. Like it was just OK. It wasn't anything the blew us away for the price. We had Steakhouse 71 at Brunch the same day and loved it more. Always love your dining reviews!

love the food reviews! Toledo in a week and a half...we know we will love it. As a non local, we appreciate your reviews. Coming from NH, I dont wanna "experiment" on signature dining. Boathouse, Morimoto, Jaleo.....we know what we like. Thanks for the honest review.

20 minutes after reservation time, you should have the option to leave without paying the penalty fee or continue waiting.
Another outstanding review. My wife and I were debating between reservations since we're going to be in the Epcot resort area for 10 days this coming September 2023. For Arrival Day, we want to explore the resorts.... and for signature dining at dinner we were debating between yachtsman and flying fish. I think this may have just tipped the scales.

Lol, it’s from Wayfair. It was really reasonable 🤗. Yeah, we wanted to love it, but it just didn’t hit like the Boathouse. Unfortunately, there are so many great restaurants here, whenever you try one and they are having kind of an off night, you don’t really want to go back. But, we have heard from a bunch of people that LOVE THIS PLACE. And yes…that Boathouse Burger 🤤🤤🤤

We love FF. I am not a huge fan of their current menu but the steak that is on this menu is one of the best on property, including Shula's. My son ordered it several months ago and raved about it. I had my doubts so we both ordered it on our last visit...I actually dreamt about it that night...it was outstanding.

never been interested in going there even though it's so close to the Boardwalk. Expensive, small portions, weird choices. Boat House fries are really, really good. My husband enjoys their filet at the Boat House.
Completely agree with you that a 25 minute wait past your reservation time is unacceptable. We love to stay at The Boardwalk but have never eaten here...just too many other great options within walking distance whether in Epcot or other hotels. If you want great seafood, you have to go to the Four Flamingos at the Grand Cypress Resort... our experience in May was beyond excellent.

I prefer The Boathouse to Flying Fish also. It has a big following though and gets a lot of hype. For me, I like Narcosi's or the Boathouse for on property seafood better. But it's always good to experience new to you restaurants.

I’m saying all that I’m from service and I don’t think I’ve ever went to Disney dining as great service. Just haven’t had quality service but I took it as well it’s ok I’m enjoying my time

Macdonalds drive thru takes 20 minutes . But yes service isn’t great with things. But yes u expect great at high end. Great vid regardless. Thnku.

So sad you had a bad experience at Flying Fish. It is one of our favorite, but totally understand you were put off by the wait and server.
Thanks, it happens. Every place has better days than others. Unfortunately, we only know the experience we get and with those prices, there won’t be many more 😂
Hubby and I always say we'll get to this restaurant but we never do. I have heard not so great things about this place, we'll keep skipping it. Too bad, especially, because its signature. so its expensive
It’s weird, some people LOVE IT and we’ve heard from a lot that it’s a one and done. Pretty polarizing

The wife and I were just there last month and we had much better luck than you. We were blown away happy by the food and service. Now our favorite on property. I loved the steak so much, our server Izzi took us back to the kitchen to say hello to the chefs. That was a magical moment. Can’t wait for our next trip in March! Love your reviews and listen to all your videos and podcasts. Maybe the only time i can agree to disagree.

Just found you with this vlog. Subscribed. Enjoyed the entire thing, but… your rating of 3.75 seems very high for something that was just ok and high priced.
It was definitely above average, but yes - overpriced. If 3.0 is average, I still think 3.75 is fair. Thanks for watching!

Just because Disney says a reservation is not guaranteed does not change what the word reservation means. This was bad service and no one should be be making excuses.
