- PowerDirector editors can face two common issues in raw footage that we assist with in this tutorial The first issue is footage where the horizontal edge of the footage is not accurate. We show you how to adjust for that. The second is where colors are dull and not vibrant. We suggest several kinds of fixes for this issue as well.
Thank you 👍
Thanks! --Jim
Colour adjustment is one of those tricky settings that can easily go wrong. I like to think a little goes a long way, a small amount of sharpness is something I use on all my videos. Another nice instructional presentation.
I agree that a little change is often better. Thanks for checking this out. --Jim
Jim, did you have to redo this?
I realize I've covered some of this before, but I'm discovering that some of the users are using the new interface so that occasionally updating a tutorial adds clarity to those who have not been around for a while. It is sometimes challenging to describe something novel and totally new to the channel after so many tutorials. --Jim
Editing 4k color in PD... too often results in banding. Not sure why, but I don't edit color in PD because of it.
Not sure why that happens. I have not experienced that myself. That certainly is not the result you want. --Jim
