    It will be interesting to see how long before you start to buy more tips... the speed and stand makes the T12 my favourite.

      sometimes I look for "filler" to top up $35 Amazon free shipping (I do not have PRIME)
      T12 tips might just be the the ticket...

      .... as all the crazies that I used to run into in the "Legal Reform" movement in Texas, all monies are just fiat money. 🤔 None of it is real money 😆😆😆😆
      ...but most of those guys were all Nuts, and their "Legal Reform" movement was just BS, much like their "Reform" movement. 😄

    Brilliant Denis, I have an obscure brand of power tools here called Ozito. They are pretty cheap but they work well. I have found the same tool on AE to fit the Ozito battery.

      Ozito is owned by Einhell so its often useful to look for that name because they sell the same Ozito stuff under the Einhell name in other markets

    I hope u r doing well. U have shared so much great info with us!! I have watched almost all your vids from the beginning. Today I remembered some of your comments about Laser level and tri pods. I need to use one on a building project. I moved one of my Bend PAC Car Lifts and used Hilti Epoxy instead of anchors. It’s all leveled and functioning in its new home. About 3 feet from its old home. I will b pouring a slab and want the laser level to make layout a little easier. Do u have an email address that u allow us to communicate privately? Thank u!!

    This is a high value channel. I want to buy a self leveling laser level. Have u researched them and have one to recommend? I will probably buy the soldering station. Although I don’t solder very often. But the laser level will come in handy for setting toe in and building projects.

    • @theGADGETSplaylist
      @theGADGETSplaylist  Před rokem

      don't have to break the bank for a laser level capable of doing wheel alignment as I described on the channel
      this one at Harbor Freight would handle it:
      www.harborfreight.com/painting/measuring-marking/levels/laser/40-ft-self-leveling-cross-line-laser-level-57529.html
      the green line ones are better yes, but more pricey

    BTW, 340C in not hot enough for that splicing job.

      @theGADGETSplaylist  Před rokem +2

      agreed!
      340ºC is what I use for header pins
      I had the camera rolling and let the solder job stand warts and all

    what is the wattage?

    • @theGADGETSplaylist
      @theGADGETSplaylist  Před rokem

      70W

    • @rpsmith
      @rpsmith Před rokem

      Do you know if they are boosting that battery voltage to get that wattage? I would think that might take around 24 volts.

    • @theGADGETSplaylist
      @theGADGETSplaylist  Před rokem

      @@rpsmith I do not know but I doubt they would need to

    • @rpsmith
      @rpsmith Před rokem

      @@theGADGETSplaylist -- I think the T12 tips run around 8 ohms so with only 18 volts to work with you are not going to be able to produce 70 watts.

    • @theGADGETSplaylist
      @theGADGETSplaylist  Před rokem

      @@rpsmith good point!
      I quoted the 70W on the seller's page without giving it much thought.
      I'm pretty sure there's no boost converter involved and since it's 20v (not 18v) then the math puts it at 50W
