    You may want to check the crawl space for mold. It’s apparently very common in homes in the south, there are many contractors who can come and make minor changes to ensure it doesn’t leach into your home.

    Hi Angie! I am a speech language pathologist and your complaint of nighttime asthma is ringing some bells for me for inducible laryngeal obstruction. Very possible it is something else going on, but just wanted to mention this since it is something not a lot of people know about! If you feel like you have difficulty breathing in rather than breathing out and you have audible strider on inhale, that is a sign that it could be vocal cord dysfunction!

    • @intentionallymade
      @intentionallymade Před 8 měsíci

      @@randomvintagefilm273we noticed the coffee maker side of it was brewing slow so we cleaned it with vinegar like we did every few months and this time it busted and went everywhere. So my hubby took it apart and there was black mold all in the filter and water canister area. I’m assuming the vinegar pushed it that way because it got clogged and had nowhere to go. I had significantly changed over that course of year… rashes, itchy legs, major fatigue like BIG time and irritability and most recently I started getting migraines which I have never experienced before and ears ringing. I knew something was wrong so I started a Candida cleanse and doing all these herbal things but it wasn’t helping…. Well that’s because I was drinking mold and didn’t know it 😭 we threw the coffee maker away and for two days I had flu like symptoms and then I called my naturopath. She said I was most likely experiencing die off symptoms and gave me a detox plan. It was the craziest thing ever. Still detoxing (this happened in June)…

      @@evelynporter6349 years ago the donation bag was free and they seemed to pay out well. This was like 10 years or so ago now. I used to blog and plenty of mom bloggers were sponsored by them but they actually used them even without a sponsorship and would often blog about thread up and other thrift stores being how they saved money. Back then a mama if six that I followed said that clothes for her family at that point were essentially free BC she would send in with the free bag, get a large enough credit back and then shop for the next season! It's been years since I've seen anyone talk about thredup in such a way or who would say they got next to every garment from them. Now I see it more for ppl who are brand specific and wanting to save a few dollars, normally on denim, and even then it's not thrift store prices, a pair of jeans that's normal 110 dollars might be 70 so it's still a deal but it's likely not much cheaper than if you had waited for the brand to have a sale. I often see Levi's and other brand jeans but one get one half price and occasionally even better deals. Also Zulily tends to have amazing prices on their featured brands, you just need to have patience for the brand to come back.

    I have ADHD too and I call the piles my “Doom Piles”. They make me anxious and overwhelmed because I hate clutter but I have a hard time getting rid of clutter. I’m also on a feta egg kick… it’s what I have had for lunch every day for the past week. It’s like you are describing me when you are talking about your ADHD. I was only diagnosed 2 years ago (at 36) and my mom was like “Oh! Your pediatrician wanted to diagnose you with ADD when you were 5 and I wouldn’t let him and we never went back.” When I asked her why she said there was a stigma around ADD when I was a kid and she didn’t want me labeled. Which has been my mentality with my own children. After that and realizing how much easier my life would have been in school if my teachers and I would have known… I finally allowed a diagnosis for one of my children that I have been fighting for 6 years.

    • @MarisaAndChew
      @MarisaAndChew Před 8 měsíci +3

      My mom said the same thing, except I'm still not officially diagnosed BC I feel like the pediatrician was right when she was like nah... Anyway, her reason for not accepting it was BC back then (I'm 38) they over medicated kids who had ADHD and it made them "weird" and that's what caused the stigma, the kids were often little zombies, they were suddenly well behaved but it was just too much... With my son was 4 i had him assessed and he was diagnosed same day, the kid during the assessment decided he needed to figure out the drs stool and took it apart and then had to get it back together 🤣🤣 which made the Dr who was assessing him know without a doubt that my boy was ADHD to the point he couldn't focus on the "boring" questions. We did meds for a year then he started sports and didn't need then again. During covid lockdown he was 17 and said then "for the first time since I was little the cobwebs feel like they're coming back and I might need to go and get ADHD meds" but then they loosened things enough that he could manage and didn't need to go that route (which I fully support either way). It's been interesting to see ppl on CZcams who I fully relate to say they have ADHD BC then I feel like my pediatric diagnosis was likely correct. One thing I recently heard was that a lot of ppl with ADHD can drink coffee anytime of day with no issues sleeping and I was like 😳 BC I often have a cup or 6 and then have a solid nap or go to bed for the night. I'm also someone who can wake up go potty, brush my hair and teeth leave the house with water and get back 6 hours later and then device I want coffee instead of being like my mom and dad who wake up and need a cup of coffee, my brain and body are already going.

    • @Naedlj

Idk… I think it may be a MLM but I swear when I take these in the morning I’m like the Energizer bunny! I can take care of my kids and my 89 year old grandma and get the house clean. I'm 31 and was diagnosed with Adult ADHD this year!! I tried a stimulant medication, which made me feel extremely tired and depressed, but my doctor recommended we try a non-stimulant (Qelbree) and it's been a HUGE game changer. For instance--this past week I've actually been organizing my piles and cluttered spaces without dread, finishing up projects that have been 95% completed for months, feeling way less overwhelmed by normal life, able to handle more physical touch from my family, etc. I had no idea so many of my issues were tied to ADHD, and it's so good to know I wasn't just some lazy pile who couldn't figure things out like everyone else 😂 I haven't lost my weirdness (praise the Lord), and it's definitely helped me be able to be a better mom and housewife.

Then combine flour and the other ingredients in a bowl,by the time you get that done, you will notice the yeast has “risen some, it is ready now to add to your flour mixture.

Also, i am a sandwich eater for weeks on end. Then, when i decide to not eat sandwiches, i feel like i don't know what else to eat lol. Other issues is that i can't function in a grocery store that is loud and/or crowded. I can't think clearly in that sort of environment. To be honest, i hate shopping, curb-side pickup is my go to. I have created methods of helping me manage my rabbit-trail brain. Lists, lists and more lists is one way i manage. I have also narrowed down my interests so that i dont have 20 projects going at once and never finishing any of them. I have learned to be okay with my way of thinking and doing. I can often think outside the box much more easily than some others. I often think of many pathways to reach a goal rather than the "accepted" path. At any rate, my house might be a little messy due to "piles", but that is just the way i functiin. As long as i don't get to "dirty house" stage, i can live with messy.

    Give me a min, I’ll remember what I was going to say…😂. I write things down on note pads, and it looks like a puzzle..but I know where to find information on the page vs if my notes are written “normal”, I cant’ find the information on the page. If my things are hidden away it’s less stressful, but then I forget. I could go on and on and on and also; because my thoughts come out the way my brain has organized information. If this made sense you are my friend.😂

    I do have something in common with ADHD persons in that I have a bit of organized chaos, usually in the form of piles, or stuff in bags. If they are moved, then I'm going to have to get reacquainted with every pile or bag of stuff, as well as pray that I don't get the bag to keep confused with the bag to shred (which would only mean I'd have to go through them yet again in order to make sure I'm right). I took an anxiety test the other day, and it was like God was whispering in my ear, "See? That's what I've been trying to tell you." That would be the main source of my procrastination. It's hard to get anything done when you're petrified to take a step in any direction. You guys aren't alone.

    Hello, we used to grind the wheat berries for a breakfast cereal. It’s great for a hearty breakfast in the winter. I listened to your last video, but resisted the urge to comment, since you had indicated that you didn’t want our diagnosing you😉But when I turned 40 my body started going crazy, I’m in my mid fifties now. I went through lots of tests. Some things I had to self diagnose with time. But when you said your vision was foggy, I wanted to weep. I had that too, I had breathing issues at night, racing heart in my sleep many things. We found allergies,(natural and chemical),neck issues (find an osteopathic Dr who does manipulation)and a gynecologist measured my hormones and they were off, (I was having sleep, breathing and heart issues a few days a month right before my cycle started) my vision improved with the osteopathic manipulation. My heart goes out to you, you’ll be in my prayers. My chemical allergies were things we had to figure out little by little things like cleaners and the propylene glycol coating on medication .

    I discovered I was the same way with the piles. The piles didn’t happen until I started having severe health issues that weren’t being resolved in a timely manner. I always knew I had ADHD because I always had multiple projects going at the same time, but could follow through & finish them in a timely manner. One issue was buying clothing, or things. I couldn’t just go buy one outfit I had to have multiples & if I really loved the item I had to have all the colors of said item. Lots of things coming in & nothing going out. My piles started in earnest after I got a sever case of Covid in the very early days of it. My Dr & I managed to keep me out of the hospital, but I ended up with lung issues where I can’t keep my oxygen levels regulated, so now I’m on oxygen 24/7 on top of
    severe fibromyalgia sent me over the edge. That’s when ADHD became a negative & the piles began. Then kidney/bladder problems decided to pull me down further. I just recently got out of the hospital because I had to have stents put in & the antibiotic wasn’t working & couldn’t stay on top of pain. I’m finally (knock on wood) infection free & it was like a switch was flipped & I just started going through piles, just one at a time & not getting distracted to tackle them all at once. My focus has improved. I still over do & have to take time off for healing the excruciating pain issue, but I still feel motivated to tackle those piles. So, feeling better & controlled spending has lifted the anxiety veil enough to help me move forward. Also, limiting social media & the negativity it brought out of me has helped. Now, this is in it’s early stages but prayers that the ADHD will stay shifted back to the positive & goal initiative I used to have. My attitude has shifted to the positive side & it’s helped me to stay on task. Now I have piles to donate or trash & a sweet BIL to get it out of sight quickly so I don’t fret over the attachment to junk that I think I may use or wear later. After I got so sick I realized I didn’t have to put on that facade & perfection doesn’t exist. Just one pile at a time, period. If I can do it so can you. Good luck & God bless 🙏🏼

    Use your whole wheat flour in a batch of peanut butter cookies.... DE-LISH. I had to make bread and baked goods in the late 70's because I think I had THE FIRST CHILD WITH A DAIRY ALLERGY IN THE WORLD!!!! I was forced in the bread making, wheat grinding life WAY BACK because there were NO options for me. It does make a difference for people. I have a 100% whole wheat recipe for multiple loaves from " Magic Mill".....such soft bread.

    Telling U without telling U: I forget sooo many appointments that my dentist’s office started giving me day-of, 2-hours-ahead reminder calls a decade ago. Lost 4 pair of prescription glasses in one year (okay, technically 3, but found one pair in a Wm-Sonoma shopping bag in last year’s Christmas closet, then promptly lost them again🙄. OTOH, I do always find forgotten gifts in the chaos of that Christmas closet, so there’s that. Speaking of vision (weren’t we??), did you see the eclipse? No pics, but gotta trim back our trees for sure. And keys. So many “ misplaced” keys that all of Dallas probably has a copy of at least one of our [also lost] replacements. If only I had $1 for every person assuming they’re the first to suggest that a key-tree by my front/back doors would solve my problem and change my life. SMH…which, btw, makes me dizzy lately. Anyone else getting vertigo around peri/menopause? The things no one told us. Gotta close, but that’s just a peek at my ADD brain. People laugh, but it’s no joke. No, it’s not cancer. I realize that. But the constant castigation from my internal monologue after a lifetime of this is still pretty crushing😢. Squirrel.

    Have you traveled or been away for a few days since you’ve been having these symptoms? Just curious if you’re better in hotel rooms or other locations? I was able to figure out our eczema flair up when we discovered it went away when we left our apartment (this was years ago when we bopped around hospital housing). It was black mold. Surprise! Surprise!
    I really hope you figure this out. It’s awful when you’re unwell and even worse when you can’t figure out the source/diagnosis.
