My opinions on the tac gear is
Tac Pack: useful for squads to carry armor for when they’re down, or when i have a mortar and dont want to take up alot of space
Spotter Scope: useful before nerf, i dont use it that much now, it is useful when you or a teammate has a mortar and you can call out distances. Also if they buffed it again, just make it like it was before with the instant pick up, but leave the live mark at 3 seconds
EMT: i use this more than any other tac gear, i am usually in the thick of it when i get into fights to this is very helpful for when im stuck between a rock and a hard place, and can res my battle buddy fast
Drone: i love it and tbh get almost a emotional attachment to the little thing when i use it (i mean who doesnt its so small and cute). BUT. it NEEDS to be fixed so it works in the blue, i dont know how many times i have needed it but it wont work because its in the blue. Really grinds my tac gears.(pun intended)
So yeah thats about all i have to say. Some neat loadouts with tac gear are stuff like:
‘team care’: tac pack and emt gear, you mainly just keep your buddies smoked up healed and revived and stocked with armor.
‘Mortar support’: tac pack and spotter scope, carry a mortar with you and use the scope to get distances and blow em from afar to keeps bogies inside so teammates can push

I appreciate the long comment and insight, thank you for this! I love your approach to the team aspect too. But for the comment about bluezone, it's supposed to apply to ALL tactical gear where they cannot be used in the bluezone. EMT also doesnt work there, just a balance thing.
Yes i know they are supposed to get stopped but id at least have liked the drone to still work :)
the bluechip scanner should have an expiration timeline like the blue backpack and other players should be alerted that they are being scanned
Yeah I think there's a number of things they can do to help scale it back just a tad

how do you get the muscle arm suit or cyborg head are they in any crates?
muscle arm suit was from fantasy royale 2.0 I think standard muscle suit is in workshop. Cyborg head was recent pass, so I don't think it's in workshop yet.
Tactical gear for sure has place in PUBG it brings lot lf flexibility in the game, it really makes you get out of your comfort zone by sacrificing a main weapon and utilizing what i call Hybrid build and experimenting with the combos.
But as you ve mentioned currently they need additional balancing and etc.
Thats why i think around 70+% of the players dont use them. (atleast on consoles, dunno for PC)
Depends of the tac gear i have. I really like to combine it with a DMR/Semi-auto AR + Scorpion/Glock.
What weapons you like to utilize when having tac gear?
Yeah I would say even a higher % don’t use tach gear personally. My favorite is EMT + VSS/canted sight + Glock
oh wow i didnt know that about the emt gear.. i thought it was just a faster healing only, i like that , i might use it more often now im usually solo
It’s SUPER strong early hot drops and lategame team fights when most things are close range
@@CDome iv noticed you said you only stuck with one gun but dont forget there are pistols and im actualy pretty good at pistols , like the automatic pistol is like a mini smg for close combat and you can use a 6 scope for your rifle for mid-long range combat and if a enemy hits you hard you can heal up quickly and be backin the fight, I hope it dont get nerf if not already.

the way I understood the crafting workbench is: there are several work benches all over the map. You need a pickable toolbox and scrap and have to go to such a workbench to craft something. So for me its not a unfoldable item.
Tac pack for me is now unnecessary - why i cant put TACticle gear in a TAC Pack .. i get it with the EMT gear but therefore you need 2 weapon slots (Tac Pack and EMT gear) to use it and you have no reloaded weapon in your hand. so i think its a good deal.
Drone is nice on Deston cause of the security cards and lvl 3 gear, but that's missing on other maps .. it also should be usable in blue zone maybe there not 300m but 150m.
Spotter Scope after nerf is rubbish. take the old function but only 3s instead of 7s red marker - and its fine
blue chip detector seems OP, but i didnt test it right now .. maybe more delay or 50m instead of 100m and no markers for up-/downstairs .. hope they adjust something
self AED is cool, emergency pickup too
unfodable shield seems a bit to slow to unfold -but i didnt test it right now - maybe adjust the time to 1,5s-2s

I think the blue zone backpack would be a good counter for the blue chip sensor.
Doesn't work like that though, the bluezone back-pack absorbs blue zone damage. blue chip detector is like a heartbeat sensor.

Now that you can't have tactical Gear in the tactical pack I would love to have the weapons loaded again with a 2 to 3 seconds wait to use the weapon. Storing a DBS or any slow reload weapon there always makes me want to throw it away
Yeah that’s a good point! That’s why if I use it I try to get quick draw magazines on my guns

TBH most of the tacticals are useless on most maps. The drone has its place on Deston, but other than that it is typically not worth a weapon slot loss. This new detector though is broken, if I wanted to play COD I'd go play COD. The EMT gear is really the only one I pick up on a normal basis. However, PUBG is doing everything except add a revive system I don't want more ways to detect and eliminate players they already have plenty of those. I don't know how many times people have to say it, bring a smart balanced revive system and get rid of all the fluff tactical gear. But that's just like, my opinion man. Good video as usual C!

They should get rid of the blue zone grenade aswell, the blue circle is something that happens in the background to slowly bring everyone together because it has to, the blue zone in no way should be able to be used as a weapon, if they want something that can bring campers out of a building, use another idea such as a toxic gas grenade either hand thrown or shot out of the grenade launcher, so it works like the smoke grenade but if your in the toxic gas then your charactor will caugh and your health will slowly go down like when your in the blue zone.

I personally do t think the EMT is OP, I think it is right where it needs to be, especially since it cannot be used in the blue.
As far as the Tac pac I think it is useless, if I could swap weapons without reloading I think it would be used again, when you could add other tac gear to it, it was 100% op.

You can hold armours and ammo
The Spotter Scope sounds not that usefull. I would buff it, by showing you the exact distance in meter for you and your teammates when you hard target someone. That way snipers can zero on that distance or you could mortar that location. I mean it is a tool for snipers right? So it should have some unique benefits for them. All in all I like the addition of tactical gear, its really cool to have different roles when you play in a squad, to spice it up a bit. After watching some videos I feel an itch to try pubg again.

Cause the realistic thing would be if I Put a gun in my bag and took another one out the one I took out would be loaded realistically I wouldn’t put the gun in my bag knowing I’m in a live or die situation and unload it before I put it in 😂😂😂😂

Give it a go! Especially in team games. Holding more jammer packs, grenades, armor, etc could be useful!

@@CDome when u use a full auto weapon at one hand and EMT another gear it's a great combo on Haven. And I'm more of loot and gear up first type than fight head on
came back to pubg after 2 years. ots honestly so annoying how many new guns there are. hovering over the guns they all seem to have the same stats. but trying to learn each gun sucks when games end so quickly. do i single tap only? is it meant for burst gameplay? is it a rifle i should be always on full auto? how much recoil? whats a good max distance? which attachments will work or make the gun WORSE as i remember certain grips having that effect. Now there is all kinds of mortars and smoke launchers and bags and equipment ..who has time to figure all that out as a solo on the run. theres also WAY too many gear spawns. different buildings and locations used to have value or tactics now i drop on some random ass barn and have lvl 3 , m249 , kar 98, 20 meds and 400 ammo. just seems very silly
You should check out the training mode (aim lab) where you can spawn your own weapons and loot and test out all your different grips & attachments to see what works best for you. Also, I have guides on which grips are best, gear, etc.
The crafting stuff is kinda lame..its bumming me out, i like the looting aspect

Blue chip should only be available when you choose the blue chip detector so players who did not chose blue chip detector can't be detected.

@@CDome if you dont carry any bandages, you can revive and full heal in 6 seconds. Imo it should be half the time whatever the normal time is for the item you’re using. And a rez should be 5 seconds. And with the scorpion and g18 as potential side arms, you can still run two weapons. dmr/mp/emt is just too strong.
Or just don’t add it to the game because it’s not needed / think of something better

@@CDome the question is, is something like this needed in the game? If the community agrees yes, to flush out camping rats and getting killed out of no where, there are a thousand ideas developers can come up with that isn’t a game breaking item that takes up a weapon slot
None of these tac items should really take up a weapon slot.. just bag space. Or no space if it’s something like the healing kit since you’re carrying it separately. And that one should be a rare awesome item to find. Like the self res, but maybe you can’t hold both of them at the same time. Pubg developers are just dumb though if you look at their track record for decision making
