If you have the T-pack, a pistol suddenly becomes a useful thing to have, especially when you have the sniper prepped. You can use the pistol for bait shots, or for if you get jumped while sniping.
Like pistols weren't useful before ? I use a pistol at least once per game

The slow weapon change of the tactical pack is why I've been ditching it in the late game. Also, the Panzerfaust kill on the car and the squawk when you got shot at behind the rock both cracked me up. 😄 Good stuff.

that said, Tactical Pack is actually pretty OP if you know how to use it especially in squads. Being able to be the versatile person in your squad gives you guys a very big advantage even against good players. Just the fact that I can give them an extra vest if they need it, I can revive them easily with EMT gear, or just spot for them while I play a bit of a backline is actually rather OP, and doing all that while having the threat of also being another player that can go in or help in the longer ranges is pretty threatening. The only thing you cannot do however is do all those things at once so your squadmates will have to adjust. Maybe a bit of a learning curve for all four of you but when you do got the momentum, my god the Tactical Pack delivers. Quickdraw and Extended Quickdraw mags are pretty good to alleviate the reload that you always have to do when you pull out your guns so I think its balanced in a way that you really can't do two things at once but you are the most versatile player in your squad.

I was like that in my last game, sniper, assault rifle, spotter and an emt gear.
3 seconds to use a medi-kit to get a full healt with an adrenaline shot for the icing.
I was spoting people through tree leafs and my team mates was just sniping them.

im loving the tac pack, its so useful, i can carry my assault rifle in my hands, with a sniper, EMT gear, backup ammo and maybe a spotter in the pack, reloading every time isnt a huge deal as long as you have quickdraw / extended quickdraw mags
I love the fact that with this addition, quick-draw magazines finally feel useful.
I liked that they nerfed it so you have to reload weapons from the tac pac
@@paris8132 exactly, it doesnt feel like it goes Quickdraw > extended > extended QD, the quickdraw feels more on par with the extended since it has a proper use now, 10 less bullets but it means you can fight faster with the tactical pack on

I like filling it with multiple jammer packs and sneak around in the blue late game. You can also fill it with back up helmets and vests if yours get broken. You can also carry extra backpacks and stuff for friends on taego who go to the comeback arena. If you find a bunch of panzerfausts or mortars just load up, you never know. I have a lot of fun with the tac pack.

Rather than the TacPack, I'd rather they modified the existing non-weapon slot on your hip that holds the pan, crowbar or fuel can so it could instead hold a spare vest, EMP, drone, helmet etc

The T-pac for solo players might not be great . it might hinder their ability to fight in different ranges. Its a must in squad's though as it can hold extra weapon or armor health.

@@hxd9321 They changed it so that you have to reload your weapon every time you take it out of the tactical pack, but the Lynx doesn't even have a reload animation, let alone an ammo model. I have the feeling it would just eat the ammo right out of the gun.

Personally, I use it differently than most. I don't put any gun in it. I have one primary weapon that's versatile (VSS, M4, or Mini) and make sure it has Quickdraw on it so reload is faster when swapping out gear. I use the other four shots in the tack pack like this: drone, spotter, EMT, and either stackable heals or healthy armor. 😉 but that's just me.
I always like to stick an EMT in there if I can since it makes it pretty broken.

Tac adds a whole nother level of complexity to the game. I dont think its too op, but it definetely serves as another burden for new players to overcome. Think how annoying it must be to 2x snipe hs someone only for him to pull out a new one...
