Simon's comment at the end about Tiffany needing to stop going for men "over the age of 35" says it all. Basically, she has severe daddy issues (you'll see what I mean when their dad Terry shows up) and so she finds attraction in men like Grant who have an older man quality that she could never seek pure comfort in from her own father.
I don't know why he would be. When they do get together, he never treats her well and only cares about the baby. Plus he used to slut-shame Tiffany all the time when his sister Sam was friends with her.
@@iluvlafferty probably because at that point there was no one else around for Grant to like. And our Grant isn't a fan of rejection no matter what he says. I think he fancied/liked Tiff a lot. I think he did grow to love her but was so damaged that he pushed her away all through their "relationship". He slut-shamed her because he was freaking out about her still going out, having friends including male ones... When she was friends with Sam? He thought Tiff was "leading Sam astray" but once he got to know her? It shifted a little. He also realised and kept re-realising that she was a young girl. And he couldn't handle it. Sharon absolutely DESTROYED him with what she did... And he was already messed up as it was! I honestly think somewhere in him? He actually DOES mean it when he says that he loves someone. He just got completely screwed by the 2 loves of his life to form any kind of major, long-lasting relationship cos he's seriously terrified to let anyone in. PLUS he has always had some major mental health problems! EXTRA NOTE: Personally? I think Peggy should have married her as she couldn't adopt her 😂. Soz, I just ADORED their relationship. Peggy pretty much disliked or hated those that her kids got with. But she treated Tiff better than she treated SAM! Her ACTUAL daughter. Guess cos Tiff was there for Peggy through so much? She may not have approved of Tiff and Grant to begin with or throughout. But that was cos ... I think it was more that she grew to love her like a daughter so much that SHE didn't wanna lose her. She even said as much. She was willing to have Tiff take her GRANDDAUGHTER away! Cos she knew they needed to get clear of Grant. She even called the police on her own son once she saw he'd pushed her on the ground before she became Butcher Roadkill! (BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER, EASTENDERS! Followed closely by Danielle - the other Mitchell becomes Roadkill cos of a Butcher).

Think Grant was disappointed in Tiff's reaction to their night.... He was like... "oh... Yeah... Right"
